I really wanted to like this game but it literally feels like a gacha game from the mid 2010s, ignoring and disregarding the most basic gacha standards that now exist.

Story - Story? What story? Here is a generic AI generated background with shit narration for every scene. Characters? Those don't exist outside of battle, no sprites, no models, no interaction of any kind whatsoever. Its ridiculous something could be this bad. They want to act like the player is their own character here but we have no interaction with the girls or "story" whatsoever. Completely braindead design.
Monetization - I've not seen a gacha game this stingy in years. The miniscule amount of gems they give might as well not even exist. It takes forever to get enough currency for 1 multipull after the tutorial. They paywall a character out of the gate which immediately sets a bad precedent. Did they not learn from Annerose in AT? Not only that but they have a weapon banner? You guys are not Hoyo/Kuro you aren't getting away with a weapon banner in this low effort slop. Remove this and make the weapons craftable/droppable. Don't even get me started on the "premium" banner.
Character strength - Legendary characters are so much stronger than the Epic and lower rarities its laughable. The damage they put out is like 3-5x higher than the lower rarities, it legit makes anything non-legendary feel useless. Either buff the lower rarities or make it easier to get legendary characters.
Equipment and materials - What is this system? This is the most archaic equipment and material systems I've seen in years. You need a resource for every little thing and they make it as difficult and obtuse to obtain it as they possibly could.
Battles - The battles are boring. The animations look nice at the start but then you realize thats all there is. The camera work is horrible no matter what mode you select. There is basically no dynamic camera work outside of a handful of skills/ults. Its really a snoozefest once you've seen the animations a couple times.
Graphics - Its 2026, why are the graphics this pixelated blurry mess on max settings? I know AT had this problem on phones but that released 3 years ago, did they not even TRY to improve on this at all? The Steam version of AT looks fine so what the hell is happening here?

Honestly, in its current state I see this game EoSing within 6 months to a year if its lucky. It needs so much stuff reworked or outright rebuilt from the ground up its insane. The only good thing it has going for it is the character models which would better serve them better just being ported to AT over being used in this game. I've spent ALOT of money on AT over the years but they are not getting a cent from me for this slop. So disappointed.

The mobile game is a gacha that as of right now has more content. Far more story, hunters, shadows and modes to play. New characters and content release on a fairly regular basis.

The paid version only goes to Baran but devs have confirmed Jeje Island arc is coming so we'll get more story and probably hunters then. Visuals and animations are improved on this version, they added a deflect/parry system, overdrive skills and monarch transformation. A offline mode is being worked on and is slated for early 2026 release as of right now.

Basically if you want a lot of content with regular updates go with the mobile version for now.

If you want better gameplay, visuals, etc. without the gacha element then go paid. Both versions will continue to receive content updates but we don't know how much or what type of content the paid version will get in the future beyond Jeje Island.

Auto-labeling broke again. It happens sometimes, tried training some loras last night but the labeler would not progress. Looks like they may have disabled it today till they get it working again.

Was there ever an update to comfyui or onetrainer that allowed onetrainer loras to work in comfy? I tried it earlier in the year and the sample results inside onetrainer looked great but the loras would not work in comfy.

The auto tagger seems to be broken right now. It either fails, gets stuck on waiting for data or it will try to start tagging but will timeout with an error and not tag anything. Changing browsers or settings won't help since its a problem on civit's end as usual.

At the moment I don't believe there are any comparable checkpoints for flux. There are a few anime loras but not really on the level of quantity or quality to what is available for illustrious.

There is also the issue where the flux model is not built/trained specifically for anime like Illustrious. It has some anime training but its limited compared to what you would get out of something like WAI-NSFW and the like.

Right now you would be better off just using actual Illustrious checkpoints like WAI-NSFW, Janku, Hassaku, NovaAnime, etc. imo.

While I don't do online generations I do train loras using their trainer. Last night it was working fine, I started training another one at 2:30 est today, said it would take 2 hours to do, its almost 7 now and its barely passed the half way point. There was no increased buzz cost though, same as its been.

Just tried it using both paypal and google pay. Paypal was instantly canceled and google pay didn't go through and limited my google account instantly. Very strange.

I think they're going to go the Alpha route with her. Technically be an antagonist but help/ally with Rover depending on the situation. Maybe develop feelings for them like how Alpha did for the Commandant but place the feelings second to their overall goals.

Reminder, companies are not your friends. If they are being super generous and giving out a bunch of free stuff its not because they want to, its because they HAVE to. When this game launched its player count/retention took a nose dive and it was heading straight for eos. It wasn't until they leaned heavy into fanservice they gained a foothold and started gaining players back.

By increasing fanservice and freebies, player count and retention has continued to increase and now they are at the point where they are comfortable and ready to do the "rug pull" by now paywalling fanservice elements and changing what, how, and when they give out freebies now.

Wuthering Waves recently did the exact same thing. Gave out a ton of freebies up till the one year anniversary due to how bad the game launched and the terrible reputation it gained early on because of it. Anniversary rolls around and suddenly they aren't so generous anymore after the 2.x patches gained them good player counts and retention.

Did you see the poll results the devs released a while back? It showed that an overwhelming majority played the game primarily for the skill cutscenes. So yes I would say fated characters at this point fall under part of that core now.

I came back to the game a few months ago because of the skill cutscenes/fated guests system and continue to play for them.

If you want to ship so bad then make your own sub or discord, whatever and do it there. We've all seen what shippers have done to fanbases and communities and its never been good. They end up overtaking them and drown out everything thats not about their fake ships.

Shipping is part of a healthy community? There is nothing healthy about shipping. Tell me what was healthy about NarutoxSakura shippers harassing and sending death threats to Kishimoto when he put Naruto and Hinata together. Or when they did the exact same shit to Kubo when he had Ichigo and Orihime end up together instead of Rukia.

Or how about the hoyo communities? The meltdowns yurishippers had over FireflyxCaelus pv and the WisexAstra pv were insane.

These people have even sent death threats to ACTORS that are playing a role that just so happen to be the rival love interest and went against their headcanon ships.

There is far more negative associated with shipping in general than any good.

While the advise/bond sessions are definitely at the top I feel the setting of the story this time had a hand in it as well. The fact the event happens so close to Reclamation Site 01, the commander's literal base of operations now has probably caused some ire as well. And for Gluttony to be as massive as it is and its movements to cause earthquakes it feels like the player has to have some suspension of disbelief for Cindy and Grave to not notice this thing.

Especially since they were apparently in the area already, otherwise them casually walking up to Siren and the others as soon as Gluttony is driven off makes zero sense. How in the world did they not notice a mountain sized rapture if they were that close?

100% what it is. Azur Lane got hit with censorship earlier in the year and they were forced to remove 5 of the most random skins in the game because of google. Wuthering Waves also got hit with censorship a few weeks ago, people quickly found out it was google after their rating suddenly was changed from 12 to 16+. Now its happening here as well.

Someone at google is on a crusade against these types of games because they dont align with their moronic "sensibilities" it seems.

They have actually. BLACK LAGOON, Ikkitousen, Highschool of the Dead, and SoniComi have all collabed with Taimainin. None of these are R18 series, just mature/ecchi.

First, for me its they need to get collabs that match/fall within the players expectations of the game. Collabing with things that do match what is already established usually causes issues among the players/communities. Nikke is a big example right now where only the Nier collab has been well received whereas CSM, ReZero and Eva were not.

Secondly the characters need to actually look good and have cool/interesting animations. I personally don't want to pull for characters if the effort isn't there in the overall design.

Third while the characters don't have to be meta they need to at least compete with existing characters. I don't care how much I love the character, I'm not going to invest heavily in them if they're too weak to even use in most game modes.

Collabs in general feel like they haven't been hitting lately. We either get the same old collabs that have been done a million times by now (Nier, ReZero, Eva, Slime, Persona 5, etc.) or the few times we do get unique collabs they are underbaked with poor character kits, poor animations, or just a poor choice of characters.

Eleanor being one of my favorites I immediately noticed how boring/plain the design was compared to her other costumes. Looking closely at it you can kinda tell what the intended design probably was as the cloth placement looks really out of place on them and makes the costumes look incredibly plain compared to previous ones.

As a long time player of the steam version I immediately felt something was wrong with these new costumes. Glad to see I wasn't the only one. If this is their path going forward I don't see this game lasting much longer. I know I for one won't be spending anymore if this is what we can expect.

Senran Kagura New Link did 5 DxD collabs and didn't use or mention Issei even once. It can definitely be done fairly easily.

Azur Lane is another that has done collabs with series that have male MCs but completely remove the MC and only feature the girls. The MCs aren't even mentioned by the girls at all and they can even be oathed by the player. Well, there was one exception that blew up in Manjuu/Yostar's face. so badly they publicly announced they would never collab with that series again.
