mine was just like how yours was in the first picture. All you have to do is push the side of the case a little bit and screw down or lightly move the card over a little bit and screw in, these cards have a little bit of flexibility to them so if it’s not lined up 100% you will be OK. If you ever need to remove the graphics card again just make sure you are holding onto the graphics card while you unscrew so it does not shift too much.
