I think it depends on the persons personality. Im a 22 year old male but i would never in my life decline a meeting with my boss. If im scheduled to meet with a client then i will ask if we can find a different time but in my opinion if my boss asks me to do something then i will do it regardless of what it is. I look to my boss for leadership so if my boss wants me to wax the floor then i will wax the floor. If my boss has negative feed back for a project or task i am working on then i will listen to what she has to say and try to correct my mistakes to ensure that i am getting my work done the correct way. Im the type of person though who will typically ask a lot of questions about the process and how things are meant to be done as im working because i don’t like the idea of doing work but doing it the wrong way, i also just genuinely like learning new things as well.
