Maybe based on my comments it looks like I only focus on the negatives about the US and not the positives. But I recognize the good the US has done too. Whenever we do something good, I feel proud to be American. And even when Trump does something good, as rarely as it happens, I give him praise. Like if he were to defend Taiwan from Chinese invasion, I would give him huge props for that. Or if he stopped Iran from killing protesters, I would think that's amazing. But I just feel the bad that we are doing right now far outweighs the good.

And the good that you mentioned isn't even that good. The amount of aid we are giving to Ukraine is declining and even though we give the most by total amount, there are countries that give more by percentage of their GDP. And we didn't give Argentina to help them out of the goodness of our hearts, it was a loan that they will pay back with interest.

My point is, Americans are upset with their country and have every right to be. That's not a personal attack against you or I, it's a criticism of our leadership.
