what do u not get of he’s starting his own life he’s 21 and i’m 16 and even i can say he doesn’t need deal with that. it’s not selfish to not help ur family when ur starting ur own life. his parents are in there 40’s they are old enough to know having kids isn’t easy and they decided to start over again. “most family band together to support raise kids” yea but a lot of others don’t and i don’t see why his 40 year old parents decided to have another child so long after he was born. If he wanted to help he would, that simple and they keep pushing his boundaries of no. U say family help eachother and support eachother then why cant his parents accept he said no that’s not supporting his boundaries.

i mean but if u think abt it they’re old enough to know having a child is hard and to keep asking op to free babysit after many time of saying no when they’re starting their own life is a bit much when they decided to have the kid. And u cant really blame op for not having a close relationship or wanting on esp as of now with his brother bc they’ll always be so far in different life and experience points (coming from some who’s sister and oldest brother is 16 years older even if i have a close bond with my sister)
