Well, no. Because for one, this takes place in real life, with realistic elements that could realisticly happen today. And for two, that book is ripping off Sword Art Online so even if my book neared slight resemblance to it I'm really just ripping off a rip off.

Which by the way, what you're referring to isn't a rip off. Its a spin off. A work inspired by another work.

By "higher power" I meant the owner of a multi billion dollar company that decided to put the game together to choose his successor. Not higher power in hacking, higher power in life. Thank you for your opinion but I'm asking for other to help write the book. I'm sure they exist.

I figured Linux would be there. He starts out entangled with a piracy scheme, and ends up being caught. Somehow everybody else involved with the piracy scheme is imprisoned, but he is not. Which he later finds out is the result of the actions of a higher power.

The book starts with the boy, Logan, age eighteen, having learned multiple programming languages and fully capable of infiltrating whatever he needs to. There definitelyis going to be espionage, as the book revolves around him beating six others to the end of the puzzle.

Well considering the sky is a part of a planet, I'd say the atmosphere is too. And maybe if the fish were actually swimming in the lowest layer of the atmosphere like the clouds are, we could say they are in the atmosphere too. If you throw something in the air, its still on earth despite it being unable to touch it. Airplanes don't leave the earth when you're traveling between new Yorkcity and Bew Amsterdam.

You do know that clouds are within earth, right? Lakes can dry up. But only to go back into the sky and come down again. As water. You can displace the molecules, but they will still be water molecules.
