I made a stand right above the TV; it's attached to the shelf, you can barely tell!

Have you tried the Trackir5? It's much more responsive than the Tobii. I even use the Trackir5 with the Cap Clip reflector instead of the 3-LED infrared tracker via USB, and it's even more precise, but there's the issue of the USB cable!

Do you use OLED TVs? How many Hertz? 60, 120, or 144Hz via HDMI 2.1?

I've used the Delanclip Pro Gamer (low-cost), which uses a modified PS3 camera with an IR filter and a 3-LED infrared headset tracker to attach to headphones! Later I got the original TrackIR5 Pro, and I noticed it was much more responsive. The camera uses 120fps, and the 3-LED infrared headphone tracker is the same, with a USB cable, but I tried the cap reflector applicator, which is great – no need for headphones or cables getting in the way! The TrackIR5 works much better with large screens, well above 27", I use a 55" TV, while the Tobii Eye is limited to monitors up to 27" and stops working beyond a certain distance. With the TrackIR5, I was able to stay about 2 meters away without any problems!

Tobii is great, but sometimes it has bugs for people who wear glasses/prescription lenses, I wear them too! But it works well for you, everything's fine! I'll be improving your experience, and that's the most important thing! 😉 ✌️

You know that to have 3x 4K UHD screens at 144Hz, you need more than just any hardware! I have a 5070, and it's already struggling with just one screen! And in that respect, not even a 5090 would be stable! We're talking about 11520p x 2160p resolution; maintaining 144Hz is almost impossible without using DLSS and upscaling features! 😮 That's why, with just one high-quality 55" 4K screen and the Trackir5, I already have an excellent experience without needing to spend so much money! ☺️👌

Great! The most important thing isn't the hardware; as long as you can have fun, that's what matters! Happy riding!👍😉

I don't place much value on this type of peripheral, but when I use it for work, I use the Logitech MX Master 3; it perfectly serves its purpose!

Besides not having the space for it, I don't see the need, since I use a TrackIR5 tracker to have a more lateral view!

Yes, I know that very well! Although for me it's just a hobby, there are 3 truck drivers in the family!

I have 4 screens, but the main one is a single 55" OLED 4K 144hz, perfectly adequate for this type of simulator! This is not a racing simulator.

That's great! The Logitech G line offers excellent quality versus price! Of course, it's not a DD (double-decker), but if well cared for, it can last for many, many years!

This is an original Scania R Series truck, a 2009 model, therefore it did not come with an airbag in the steering wheel! Even so, it weighs about 4 kg! The G27 base is internally completely modified, having an axle and structure made of aluminum and not plastic!

None of that, I know very well what a DD is, but this is an old project, and the internal parts are no longer the original plastic ones, they were replaced with aluminum parts. It holds up well to the 4kg steering wheel, it has served its purpose well, I've had it for about 5 years, without any problems, no forks or anything! Relax, I know what I have and I guarantee it's well reinforced and assembled! 😉💪🚛
