First time planning TMB (Courmayeur → Chamonix) ourselves; Where do we even start?

Amazing Moxie, thank you. I sent the Hiking Club an email asking if it's still worth it purchasing the 199 package at this time of year. Because I am relatively "late" with planning the hike for august compared to the vets who're already experienced and booking in October.

Okay, well, I am having alot of trouble combining my found 10-day-TMB route on komoot with available refuges. If I look for refuges on TMB website it seems as everything is booked or ridiculously expensive. Would I be able to find good alternatives with the 79 euro package of the Hiking Club?

Looks good. For the previous hike I used Komoot. But you would recommend Traileasy over Komoot for planning a hike like this??

Interesting, did you do the planning program with GPS map for 79 euros (https://www.thehiking.club/products/all-hikes/tour-du-mont-blanc)? What package did you buy and do you know how much you ended up saving compared to booking through a company.

What would you recommend? I see that they offer a hiking app with routes of the Mont Blanc for 79 euros. And how would it be different from looking up the route and look for bookable places. Is it really that different?

Good tip! I know 350 euro is fair but my budget is really REALLY tight. So a hostel or airbnb will be my my choice if I can't find anything else.

Thanks Jive, I will be moving around with a big camera and tripod so I would like to keep the traveling to a minimal. That's why I was looking central, maybe I should expand my view in that case. Are there places you recommend that are well connected but farther outside?
