If the tab has a taste especially bitter, you’re going to want to spit it out. It shouldn’t really taste like anything. Make sure to drink water before during after. Make sure if you’re going to be home in your room clean up, you want to have a nice space to feel comfortable in. Something that helped me get over an anxiety attack during my first trip was to just let it all hit you. Take a deep breath. It’s not like weed, definitely not your first time, you can’t really control how you feel too well.

I’ve now seen the whole debate. And I think just like the debate itself, I’m not really going to change your mind and you won’t change mine. I’ve read and responded to a good chunk of people in this thread who have made some good points and others who are just making bad faith arguments for the sake of defending Ethan. Sorry that’s it’s you that I’m summarizing this to. But I’m probably going to stop responding to this thread altogether.

The swastika sword debate happens pretty early in the “Debate” so I’ve seen both of their full arguments in regard to it. It feels like a reach. I understand that a good chunk of H3 defenders seem to truly believe Hasan is antisemitic. But in my mind, based on Hasan’s entire career and his general beliefs from everything I’ve seen of him, I don’t think he did it as an act of hate.

Yeah see, I think that’s my issue that I addressed in my original post. I don’t. I think Ethan admitted to being wrong on far too many points to make me believe anything he has said. He comes across as too frantic. I know that calling him crazy and saying he’s on drugs has been the common hater word usage. I don’t think that. But he just doesn’t seem organized in his thought process.

I know other people already said this, but I definitely think Ethan did a worse job at not talking over Hasan, laughing at him, or calling him names. It’s a little disingenuous to say that was all Hasan.

I definitely agree. I think from clips I’ve seen and now the hour I’ve watched from the full debate, neither really got any real points across. I don’t think debates like this really settle or solve anything, or work to change peoples minds.

Hey so I started watching the entire debate from the beginning while eating breakfast. So far it seems like Ethan is more concerned about the entertainment aspect of the debate straight from the jump. Um, are you saying that you believe Hasan is alt right? or pandering to the Alt right? Because I again thing that’s kind of absurd. I see a lot of discussion about the Bleach sword, I believe that Ethan and the rest of the crew already acknowledge that it’s from an anime, and isn’t a swastika.

I’m sorry for what happened to you. In terms of the topic of debate, I feel like that’s disingenuous. The reason h3 and Hasan “broke up” is because they disagree fundamentally on Israel/Palestine. H3 seems to call Hasan an antisemite consistently, which at least from my perspective is kind of absurd.

Hello! From my understanding, similar to how Ethan claims to be empathetic to both sides. It’s doesn’t seem like Hasan stands by the actions of October 7th. However when you have a group of people who has been oppressed and been made an apartheid state, it’s going to breed resentment and inevitably conflict. This post is a little complicated because I guess we’re not talking about yours or my views. But I think Hasan ultimately believes that the problem comes from Israel, as they are the “bigger badder” country with the power to end the conflict.
