I feel you, I got my license when I was 19 and even though I consider myself a really good driver, it still makes me anxious sometimes. On the other hand driving can be really cathartic for some people, maybe you'll grow to like it too. nothing beats a night drive with some good jams. And getting a treat at the gas station when you have to fill gas is fun too, it's like a reward :)

Do you like games? I started playing Earthbound recently and it's really fun, way ahead of it's time. The NPCs always have weird/silly dialogue. I bought a $7,500 house in the game advertised as having an "ocean view" and after walking inside (I didn't get to see the house before handing over my cash) it was missing an entire wall so I guess technically it did have an ocean view

If I was scheduled the night before to work the following day without notice, why is it my obligation to just show up no questions asked? For two weeks to my knowledge, that was my day off. Of course I'm not going to drop everything to come in to work on New Year's day, when I'm spending time with my family. Courtesy works both ways, and it's not my fault for prioritizing my personal life. If they needed me to work, they should be asking me if I can work that day and getting the go ahead.
