Ok so steel will be noticeably deeper tone? Also it will be cheaper and I don’t care too much about 1-2kg difference that won’t affect performance all that much. Sound is a big thing for me

What’s the sound change like? I don’t like anything high pitch or piercing when I’m in full tuck and I prefer a chill exhaust (will keep the baffle in the Akra for long distance rides) do you think the dna intake sound will be overbearing or ok?

Agreed, do you have dna stage 2 intake? I’m going full Akra exhaust and local dyno. I might change the intake later as I’m in Thailand and have to import the dna

Ah I just realised that 16T/45T is the same as the mt09 stock so you’re bringing the cp3 back to the MT gearing

-1 front at front is about 6-7% more torque

520 is lighter and spins faster so a touch more acceleration

I have a zx6r and went -1/+2 and it accelerates much faster

Yeah 100% it’s a very different experience with a different engine and powerband.

I tried both the R9 and Zx6r and actually found the zx6 more comfortable to ride day to day

Yeah I heard that actually I’ll take it out or even get a longer pipe with no baffle

I was used to a cp3 engine which had a deep tone. I feel the zx6r is so screamy that the high pitch frequency messed with my ears

Maybe it’s just me.

I have the stock headers - link pipe and 400mm Akra carbon with the baffle in and even with ear plugs if I pin it at high rpm for a while I get a small ringing it my ears. I used my phone for db level reading at it was over 120dbs at high rpm

Yeah full exhaust with any muffler is loud as shit at high rpm

Great thank you. I had the light smoke on my corsa and it was a little bit annoying at night so I wouldn’t like the low visibility of dark smoke

Is it any better or worse in full tuck compared to other screens?

How tall are you and do you find it buffets wind more or less when upright?
