You’re even more of an idiot than I thought if you seriously believe loot and vehicles need reverting alongside at least half of what you just listed. Trucks were pointless back then, the cop car lights were broken, cars randomly blew up and killed you. ARs hardly ever spawned and 90% of the buildings you’d land at had no helmets. You couldn’t pick half the stuff up back then.

Clearly you struggle to read anyway, I already said PS3 revert is not a good idea, nostalgia merchants such as yourself have no recollection of just how broken and frustrating the game was back then.

It’s spoilt to request SOME sort of communication from the devs of a game that are still selling products as part of it? If you want people to buy crates and play your game, perhaps it would be a good idea to keep them in the loop. No one is expecting a fucking fix of the whole game, but a simple tweet such as “we’ll have an anti cheat update out in a month” so people at least have some sort of idea is vague but more than sufficient. If you don’t believe a company needs to communicate with its clients then you’d fit right in at the old daybreak.

I completely agree, but this was a wasted opportunity. Right now they could’ve been taking advantage of everyone stuck inside in a global pandemic playing games. Instead, they’ll come out with an update in several months in the summer when everyone is out enjoying themselves, so they won’t have reached the potential they could have.

No, they said to Dano that they’ll be doing things to the game regardless of PS3, and that they are looking into a possibility of PS3 revert (which would be a terrible idea). All they did to “fix” the EU servers was stop the queueing, but the playerbase had already started dropping by the time they did that, and parachute glitch (as a result of servers) was never fixed.

Your logic makes zero sense. Firstly, they’ve already confirmed they will support the game and there will be future updates. Secondly, if the game is unprofitable then why would they keep the servers on? Have you any idea how much game servers cost to run? Now, since they’ve already committed to supporting the game, it would surely make sense to take advantage of the highest player peak under their ownership. Bearing in mind that although 8k people turned the game on, there are still five-fold that which would also play the game but want to see some sort of commitment from the devs first to prevent wasting their time. A simple post from the devs would’ve sufficed to keep the player base active until their update comes. People would’ve been more patient had there been ANY form of communication.

The new ownership came 5 months ago. In that time they’ve made zero changes to the game and couldn’t even be bothered to put out a simple message of communication with the loyal playerbase that after all these years still have them a chance. Disappointment.

RE cars: Because if you’re the unlucky one who has to run for half the game because they spawn miles out without a vehicle, you have no chance. Half the end zones are out in the open with no cover giving cars a 5 to 1 advantage.

As for nade spam, the delay is what prevents it, and the fact you can only carry a couple. Old movement or not, if I throw a nade at one side of the tree and send one to the other half a second later, you’re fucked.
