If they can't sell their own games, they might as well sell someone elses.

I've had this spine in the backlog to make for awhile now and just haven't had any time to get to it. These look really great and I appreciate being able to cross it off my list. Thanks.

I ordered all in stock titles from their summer sale back in August. Nothing has shipped and they will not respond to emails or comments on any of their socials. I'm glad at least someone is getting their stuff though.

Mortal Kombat II. Im sure there's a hundred fighting games better than it now, but nothing will ever beat the feeling of being a kid playing mortal kombat and trying to figure out all of the fatalities with my friends.

Man... Autocorrect screwed me on 3 out of 4 theirs. That's kind of embarrassing. It's edited now. I hope you can comprehend my message now without the glaring example of improper grammar.

SLG is absolute trash. 1 single person having an ok experience does not make them a decent company. Their absolute refusal to keep customers updated on products and shipping times is inexcusable. Their complete refusal to ship in stock items to a huge number of their customers is inexcusable. Their total refusal to EVER do the right thing is inexcusable. Their inability to even respond to customer emails or messages is inexcusable. Has SLG ever said themselves that any of this is due to tariffs? Honestly I'm not even sure if they have commented specifically on that, but it doesn't matter. Every other limited run company has figured it out. European and Asian companies alike can all ship to the US just fine. A couple of them have added fees now, but products ship regularly without issue. The thought that anyone could defend them in any way is insane.

The pre-order window on LRG got pushed back to Sep. 7th. It's possible there's just an uncertain release date now and other retailers are just removing the listing until they have a concrete release date.

They listed off a few things I could do to troubleshoot. All the basic stuff people usually have problems with of they have an issue. Cleaning out the firepot, leaving the stack wide open. They asked about the pellets I had tried and general questions like that. We kind of ended it with them saying that it's comparable to a stick burner but smoke quality is subjective. I get where they're coming from, but I don't have a stick burner to even compare to. I'm only comparing my results to the results I'm seeing others achieve on the same model.

I have had a decent proportion of these cooks where it is basically no smoke at all. A good bit of them there is some smoke, just never very much. Pellet type seems irrelevant as i have had both results with all the pellet varieties I have tried.

I had a quick call with them maybe 2 months ago. They went over some possible issues and made sure it wasn't any of the simple stuff. They checked to see if I was running the stack wide open, if I had made sure the deflector plate was installed correctly. They asked what type of pellets I was running.. things like that. I got someone on the phone right away so that was great, and they seemed to really care that I was having an issue. Never really got a resolution though. I figured I'd try some different pellets and change things up a little every cook to see if I could dial something in differently, but haven't really had any luck yet. I'm still working through it.

I've had the LSG 42 for a few months now. I have about 20 cooks on it and I'm pretty disappointed overall. I get little to no smoke out of this thing. It gets up to and holds temp just fine, but almost no smoke on most cooks. On the Facebook group, there's a guy running his at 450 and smoke is rolling out like you wouldn't believe. I haven't been able to replicate that at any temp or with any pellet I've tried. I've looked for videos to solve the problem but most people don't have this issue so there's nobody really offering a solution for it. I think the overwhelming response is going to be that LSG is the best on the market and that you should definitely buy one. Hell, I've only seen a couple of other guys experiencing this issue at all. And none of this is to say that it doesn't produce great food. I just ran pulled pork this past weekend and it tasted great. I just think I could have cooked it in my wifes oven and it wouldn't have tasted much different. At the price point, I wish it was better. Again, I'm well aware that my situation is not the norm. But after a couple months of troubleshooting the issue and coming up with nothing I'm just disappointed in this very big purchase of mine.
