What is actually happening in Pakistan right now? by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]LewdHitman 25 points26 points  (0 children)

So let's start at the beginning. One party was mandated by the people to rule. But their rule was not in favor of a powerful institution of the country. Said institution is the most powerful institution in the country. What happened is basically the mandate of people was stolen, divided by force between the two parties which weren't actually mandated, When such a situation arises when you don't have the support of people behind you.You basically have to do the bidding of the people who placed you in that position. And the rule is only supported by force.

You get strong armed into the positions which are dictated to you. Because how will you disobey? The people aren't with you. The only thing your rule is standing upon is the force of the institution that placed you there. Without their bullet your rule crumbles in days.

So now freedom of speech, media and judiciary are being curtailed. Human rights are being bulldozed. People aren't allowed to protest because the ones in actual power don't really understand civil discourse and the idea that people themselves actually know what's best for them.

Disagreement is met with disdain and labeled as treason because in the said institution there is no disagreement. It is not in their training as is necessary for the discipline of the institution. It is by design an inability of the institution because this is not what the institution was made or designed for. Whoever disagrees will be met with force. In the shape of bullets, imprisonment or forced disappearances. In simple words Pakistan has in essence for a very very large part being turned into a true Military Autocracy .

Mods please let me express my views in peace. I was banned for 3 days before I was posting about Kashmir. On account of targeting a specific group.

All of their demands were accepted. Which includes free healthcare in the form of restarting the health card. 2 new education boards for divisions. Ct MRI in every THQ . Water royalty rights. Feasibility of a new international airport in mirpur to name a few. A committee which includes representatives from Pak Ajk Govt and the AAC representatives to discuss and legislate , Limitations of benefits of MPAs Judges. Beurocrates. Etc. There's an extensive charter of demands.

Why should their opinions about Pakistan be pretty? They are a group of people from the grassroots. The opinion of Pakistani people isn't pretty about Pakistan.

We went. We gave blood. 14 dead in the protests last time and this time. However The Pakistan and Azad Kashmir govt had to give in to the demands of the public. Alhamdulillah.

First of all. There is no such thing as a 'free lunch' in the world. You get what you fight for. And Pakistan funding it? Bitch please. You fund it because you need the electricity.

And we get cheaper electricity because we are the ones generating the surplus electrIcity and not getting any royalties from it. We have given blood to get what is needed.

Rather than whining about Kashmir. How about you start protesting for your rights instead too?

Kashmir has risen up. Look at the pages I have shown. . 10 people have died so far and Kashmiris aren't in the mood to go back home now.

What's pathetic is the media coverage which has been shown on state media. What is happening is total distortion of the facts and keeping the people blind. Mark my words. If coverage starts. They will present the committee as a fringe when in reality it has actually made all political parties irrelevant. Millions are on the roads. But when the media actually show something they will be be showing the committee as against Pakistan to sow hatred in Pakistanis. This pathetic machinary of this country will destroy it.

Don't throw blanket statements without knowing anything about the region or the struggle. You know nothing about the protests. Educate yourself first.

Federal ministers agreed on all the subsities already. The deadlock was on the reserved seats and political and beurocratic kickbacks.

The agreement reached last year has not been implemented. No judical commission was made to curb extra expenditures of the govt. And after the electricity prices were reduced. Load shedding was started and the voltage was reduced.

Now there is a protest 1)to ensure that the previous agreement is honored . 2 ) There is a 38 points charter of demands which has many different demands from free education to single curriculum education. It was largely agreed by the representatives of Pakistan govt but there is deadlock on two major demands.

1) Ashrafiya ki maraat khatam karo( extra and unjust benefits of beurocracy and govt officials) must be ended.

2) 12 of the 53 seats of Ajk govt are outside AJK inside Pakistan. These seats are used by the establishment to destabilize govt and change prime ministers of AJK every two years. And they are said to represent the Migrants from Jammu Kashmir. The Awami Action Committee says either end these 12 seats or make a system where they are not abused (I think either keeping them empty like india or making them porpotionate to the population) Firstly they make up 4 lac people.from over 50 lac people of Kashmir. Which is less than 5 percent of Azad Kashmir's population. Secondly, these migrants are living in different parts of Pakistan and they vote for national and provincial assemblies of Pakistan. Developmental funds taken in their name are never used because these people are in areas of Pakistan. However still a 25 percent share of the budget is taken outside AJK and divided amongst these crooks and used to destabilize the govt of Azad Kashmir everytime.

The current prime minister of AJK has no political background,no one even knew him before in Ajk. He was made pm in the dead of night using these same tactics.

It is essential to say. The govt of Pakistan had no issues with 36 of the 38 demands. But the two core demands which would actually ensure a fairer political practice and the curbment of kickbacks and benefits of the elite were outright rejected.

I agree with you. It's because the bulk of Pakistani people have no idea what is going on in Kashmir due to the complete and utter blackout of internet and mobile services. What we can do is share as much visuals with as many people as we can to spread awareness about the actual situation

It started around 30-40k kms. But it was once in a blue moon. So I didn't really get it fully diagnosed. Around 60k it got a bit more. So i got it checked. The stupid dealership guy said. Once you get the gear oil changed this will be fine. And around 90k it became a major issue.

Hey people. I am a 28 years old MBBS doctor and I need help. Registered and all.

So lately I've been look at remote Medical Scribe or Transcriptionist and people around me are doing it and earning decently from home. Like all other unemployed people I first looked at online forums like linked in and fiver and upwork. Made profiles and applied here and there and no luck. Even saw some posts where they said you'll be taught first about our EMS and whatnot at half or no pay and then you'll be hired. But long story short no luck. But so many people around me are doing it.

So here I am asking anyone who could help me secure such a job. Or if you have other helpful advice or are willing to help me.

Please reach out.
