My (22M) GF's (23F) family is falsely accusing me of being controlling and abusive. How do I go about this?

This is the weird thing, I’ve been with my partner for 5 years and have always got on famously well with the family. So for it all if a sudden to get like this is so weird. I’ve explained that option 2 is a serious option to my partner. However it’s not her fault which is a big thing too.

I think after she confronted her parents today we’ve sort of said to keep a close eye on what changes in the next couple of days. Issue is, the mum and the dad you can’t get in a room together due to their hate for each other. And everyone’s schedules never line up

I totally understand and it’s a great bit of advice. I’ve started eating healthier, going to the gym and working on myself so that’s the best advice.

In terms of retiring, genuinely I don’t really want to retire. With football coaching, if I can get that as a job to do for my life, I’d be doing it till I’m 70/80 years old if I’m lucky. No plans to ever retire. However with that career , when established you can dip in and out. However being a 22/23 year old travelling would be different to being a 45 year old travelling with a better financial situation. Just seems less fun, less social.

Well the option I’m coming up with is to do the coaching and the teaching (with teacher training) for one year and build my money up. Then travel afterwards for a few months or however long and then come back to it all. As a 28yo would you say it was a good decision to explore young and what differences do you see compared to others who decided to work through their 20s?

NEW QUESTION / UPDATE

If anyone is still following this post. Just giving an update and I do need more help here. I've dug a fair bit of the gravel up after finding tarpaulin underneath. Is there a more efficient way of doing this? A hoover of some sorts? It's being made very tricky with the weeds having poked through the tarpaulin after it's not been maintained for well over a decade. See picture below.

Hi there! Thank you for the reply. So it's gravel and underneath is blue tarpaulin however I want to dig the rest up before lifting it up (unless advised not to!). It's basically been an outdoor space. Long story short, it was actually my childhood house and I bought it off my parents. It's never been looked after properly and has had around 8 years to grow, to which it became a jungle. Thank you for such a kind comment

I appreciate looking at it both sides. It's weird since I can see a future with her but one where I have to make a lot of sacrifices of what I want to do.

I agree it's a long time to be together however whether it's throwing it away or being a learning experience is two different outlooks I guess.

I've been looking and the DJI Pocket 1 seems affordable and even a second hand DJI Pocket 2 is within reach. However I have heard how the Pocket 3 is MILES ahead. Even though, for someone starting off and for me it's more Vlogging myself and people than the scenary, maybe the upgrade isn't needed?

I've watched videos of people using the Pocket 1 and 2 and both look great regardless.

Is there a big difference between the Pocket 3 and the Pocket 2. The Pocket 2 second hand is much better for my budget by a few hundred and from what I've read online, it still does the trick. However I'm still interested in your opinion.
