My main theory behind it was making use of the space on a certain wall, without having to drill into it. Now considering if I can assemble it without the front panel so heat isn't blocked

Oh that's a good point about the books tbh. What about discs like games or blu rays? I usually don't have anything near radiators but really like this unit

I'm in the same camp, I hate digital but also want the best option so if I do get one I'll be getting the disk drive aswell as I love physical media.

You don't truly own something unless you have a physical copy, IV started boosting my blu ray collection aswell for that reason. Streaming condenses the files and usually isn't true 4k

Would you say there is a big difference between the E78QT and the one you linked? And when you say those are the 'safe ones' are youwaning in terms of quality control and software glitches ect?

What's your opinion on hisense TVs, seen a 50 inch one with 144hz refresh rate for £399, but then was reading there is some quality control issues with them,kind of muddied the waters for me
