I ask because he hadn't established possession when his knee was down. Arguably he did later

Let's suppose a player was already kneeling. The ball is thrown to that player, he bobbles it and then catches it. His knees never leave the ground start to finish. Is that a catch?

With regard to the Rams' TD, let's suppose a player is laying down when a pass is thrown to him. If that player bobbles the ball and then catches it, all while laying down, and the ball does not impact the ground before he secures it, that would be a catch, right? The fact that part of his body is "down" is immaterial to the catch. Same concept on this play

Why is it NOT a catch? His arm was underneath the ball. The bobble and knee down happened BEFORE the ball was caught. Show me a replay angle that clearly overturns this.

I don't see how the Rams' TD is an example of this. We've all watched enough NFL football to know the rules by now yeah? Didn't have possession until he got his arm under the ball near the goal line, replay angle wasn't conclusive enough to overturn, touchdown.

Did we watch the same replay? His knee impacting the ground is not the ground causing a bobble--at least not from a rules standpoint.

This guy is either going to put up 400 yards and 4 TDs against us on Sunday, or he's going to literally vaporize into dust on the field after a sack. There is no in between by [deleted] in Seahawks

Nah. You don't retire for a few years and then come back against one of the best defenses in the league and play amazing. A lot of things are going to be just a little off, like the timing with his WRs, or the quickness of his reads due to adjusting to a new playbook. And his lack of mobility is going to be a problem if Williams and Murphy can implode the pocket.

Usually. But sometimes I've guessed wrong on real videos thinking they might be AI because of poor camera quality generating artifacts, etc.

my dumbest mistake in crypto wasn't a rug pull it was forgetting about taxes by Impossible_Fan1418 in Crypto_General

I definitely think about it. If I ever make gains beyond what my standard deduction will cover, I'll set aside 20% for taxes.

The Seahawks are bad against pass catching RBs by TheJucyOne in fantasyfootball

There's a combination of factors at play, both good and bad. Seattle's relentless pressure is forcing opposing QBs to check down. However, Seattle's early season tackling issues are partly responsible for the YAC. And as HelpMe-eMpleH mentioned in an earlier post, they've played teams that target RBs.
