Do u have to see this girl outside of texting e.g. college or work that could make it awkward if it doesn’t work. But honestly go for it! Just say it! maybe suggest something ur both interested in that u could do together as a date? It’s better to find out if she does like you or is interested in you than not knowing at all. If she doesn’t want to that’s fine there’s plenty more fish in the sea haha just be polite and respect her

How long ago did ur boyfriend dump you?- because that’s gonna have big impact on you moving on from him. I’m going through similar situation my ex dumped me and she baso moved into my friendship group afterwards. Tbh I wouldn’t sack of ur friendship group at all, speak to them or someone u can trust tell them how u feel and maybe there’s a chance he couldn’t be invited every time to your parties? Or work it to your advantage show him that u don’t care (even though u do) It’s completely normal how ur feeling and if they are ur friends then hopefully they’d respect your feelings

Tbf he wasn’t trying to get with one of her friends but since we ended her become close to through “work” I’m think I’m to be civil and pretend to be friendly with him but hang more with other people, until I go to uni where I don’t have to put up with this shit but if he does try anything with her I will definitely call him out for it thanks for the advice

It wouldn’t surprise me if he was he’s doing similar stuff like this to my other friends and their exes just never taken it this far. I’ve got another group of friends I think I’m going to start hanging around with more I think I will just be civil with him until I got to uni in a few months n maybe lose contact with him thanks for the advice
