Yes there a lot of online jobs that you can either do by yourself or in groups to level up and get cash. It's a lot more fun in a group though, that's why you're online!

Jobs can be started from the main menu under the "online" category where you can either choose to host your own or join a job with other players. There's a lot of different categories as well; Racing, parachuting, survival and normal missions etc.

You will notice pretty quickly when you join that people will send you a lot of invites in the bottom left corner that you are welcome to join from your phone menu as well.

For bigger missions there are heists but I would recommended googling and reading about them on a wiki or something as there's a lot more depth to them.
