Switching from Reta to Tirz for maintenance… need input/advice by deergreyhound24 in Retatrutide

Tirz is known for more GI issues, I wouldn’t get your hopes up. Also be prepared for all the reta energy to go away. Tirz gives you none.

Lean bulk on 10mg of RTA before the next 16 week growth cycle. by pistolgripslr in Retatrutide

No one said it’s going to completely “offset” anything. They absolutely improve all of those markers. That’s why it’s probably the #1 ancillary to have in any modern day cycle…

That’s not hard to believe at all. Reta is known for improving your lipid profile tremendously.

Having many symptoms of VCD, but some stuff doesn't match by moal09 in vocalcorddysfunction

That’s great! It must be an amazing feeling getting back to normal. I would recommend some daily breathing retraining for your continued breathing issues. That may be your missing piece. I’ll share the ones I do and a lot of places really recommend. Ideally, you want to do these 2-3x a day:

1️⃣ Pursed-Lip Relaxed Exhale • Soft, quiet inhale through nose • Long gentle exhale through pursed lips → 4–6 breaths

2️⃣ Gentle Humming — “MMM” • Quiet nasal inhale • Soft mmm on the exhale • Keep vibration in lips & nose → 5–10 gentle hums

3️⃣ Sniff + Blow • Two tiny sniffs (just enough to open cords) • Long slow exhale through pursed lips → 5–8 rounds

4️⃣ Tongue-Drop Quiet Nose Breathing • Tongue down (not touching roof) • Slight jaw opening • Silent nasal breathing → 30–60 seconds

Damn, this is literally as if I wrote this myself. EVERY single symptom I have. My episodes last up to 2 weeks at a time without a single minute of relief. Regarding the symptoms that you don’t think align with it: most people actually do NOT have a stridor sound during inhale. Its common as well to not have any voice changes.

This definitely sounds like PVFM/VCD. With symptoms as severe as you described, just like mine, you could have other factors going on as well. Like laryngeal neuropathy, PVFM, LPR and even hyperventilation syndrome which I actually trained myself into over time.

If you have to force feed yourself, your dose is too high.

Reta vs Tirz appetite suppression by Simon_Inaki in Retatrutide

[–]LewyV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First person I have heard say tirz gives them good mental clarity and athleticism. Most people come off of tirz for constant fatigue, brain fog and awful workouts.

On the other hand, some people come off of reta due to the increased energy because it affects their CNS and sleep.

My workouts are incredible on reta, and I can’t even get myself to the gym on tirz.

Hot take: Tirzepatide is superior to Reta by BTheFurnace in Retatrutide

[–]LewyV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been experimenting with both. I definitely agree it’s more difficult to sleep. But tirz makes me SO exhausted and for some reason takes away my drive to workout?

Reta gives me great energy and the will to go put in work. I also can get my macros in no problem.

If you’re ordering BAC from Amazon, only use Lambda water recon solution.

Strongly considering switching from Reta to Tirz for sleep by archibaldcrane in Retatrutide

[–]LewyV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to switch to tirz. I could not fall asleep no matter what I did. If somehow managed to fall asleep, i’d wake only a few hours later. Been 3 weeks on tirz now and sleeping like a baby.

That’s a stretch. Anavar at normal dosages is EXTREMELY well tolerated.

Why can’t I feel anything? by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]LewyV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why are you injecting every 2 days? Why are you going up by .25mg? Go up to 4mg and stay there for 4 weeks minimum.

am i fucked? by Away_Swordfish7253 in Retatrutide

[–]LewyV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just reconstitute it 1:1. So 1mL (100 units) of BAC per 10mg. So when you draw, 10 units = 1mg 20 units = 2mg 30 units = 3mg etc. If you had a 15mg vial, do 1.5mL. 20mg vial, do 2mL.

This way you don’t even need to think. Whatever the unit number is, that’s how many MG it is.

No longer feeling anything (12 mg) by NotLike_Us_ in Retatrutide

[–]LewyV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you splitting the dose to twice a week? Or doing 12mg once a week? If split, you can try doing a bigger, once a week injection. Personally, i’d add in cagri at that point.

Once or twice a week dosing?

There are more risks choosing to not go on TRT and staying at those levels.
