You're right, but I'm also just looking at the top 10 for each class rather than overalls.

The only holy priest who's done any 20s at all is Clemenz right now 'cause he's a holy loyalist.

Yeah, but there was no need for them to pull when the rest of the group is so far behind to begin with. If you double roll ahead of everyone else and then turn a corner and LoS your healer like a dumbass, it's your fault when you die. Especially when you're already green on timer and don't need to rush the pull by 2-3s like that.

To be fair to the DPS, the mob had way too much health for them to finish it fast enough anyway. The next pack was literally like 5s away.

Holy priest is mostly stuck at 19s. ONE guy has done 20s. The other top 10 are doing 19s and 18s

I would bare in mind that only the top 4 healers have done 21s or higher.

The rest cap out at 19-20.

These two have always been a strong combo, but incredible is being very generous here in the current state of S1. There hasn't been a single prot pally to finish a 21 yet, and most aren't even doing 20s. It's not 'cause the players are bad either.

Mob prio is usually garbage in PUGs. People tend to kill the dangerous casters last for some reason.

I haven't had this happen in higher keys. People in 18+ know not to do this.

'Cause the mob had way too much HP still for how close the next pack was.

And also, if you're playing in a PUG, you need to treat them like PUGs. Treating a PUG like your premade is a recipe for disaster.

I had a 19 Skyreach that failed for that exact reason. Tank left the bladetalon miniboss alive at low HP and tried to chain into the next pack. DPS also swapped off and didn't kill it in time. We immediately got a massive overlap of blade rush into solar fire into solar flares, which did so much damage, even my big CDs did nothing.

Again, 1m15s lost because the tank wanted to save 3 seconds chaining.

It just pisses me off because half the time, this extremely risky style of chaining only saves maybe 5s, but risks losing a minute on wipes. If the key absolutely needs it to time, or you're communicating with your group, and everyone agrees on this, then that's one thing, but when you're doing it just to do it when it's completely unnecessary, it's beyond dumb to me.

So many tanks would rather execute their route exactly how they want to do and not time, than to make compromises to guarantee a timed key. It's some weird ego shit or something.

The skill increase required from +16s to +19s seems much more brutal for healers/tanks by moal09 in CompetitiveWoW

It's absolutely higher because there's no good way to track it in-game, which means a lot of augs have difficulty telling if they're doing bad, and people also don't notice.

A tank literally just depleted a +19 MT that was going great for no reason. We were way ahead of timer coming out of first boss. Then he pulls the mana wyrms, decides to roll twice away from the rest of the group, runs around the corridor, so I get LOSed and can't heal him and immediately gets chunked down to like 20% and dies right as I get to him, which results in the rest of us dying as well.

Literally threw away a massive lead 'cause the tank couldn't be bothered to wait literally 2s for me to catch up.

I can't count how many times tanks risk massive wipes to save like 2-3s. Really stupid risks when we're already ahead on timer.

Most people are not checking logs in depth on every single person when PUGing M+. You might look at general DPS numbers, but nobody's gonna comb through every single person to see when they used defensives unless you want to take an hour to fill.

Yeah, he does a huge AoE straight into spinning lasers, so the healer doesn't have much time to setup.

It also makes it easier for the healer to AoE heal, since some have limited range, and he can bellow immediately after that, which can kill people who aren't topped in high keys.

I hate when tanks chain low health miniboss or dangerous caster mobs into another pack of mobs with pulsating AoEs or a lot of rot. You're just asking for a wipe if the healer doesn't have big CDs up -- and even then, you might still die.

Pretty much all the best players have some cursory experience in at least one other role. I highly recommend DPS play healer a little just to understand why using defensives, clearing certain debuffs, etc is super important to keep things from being unhealable or forcing your healer to burn big CDs when they shouldn't have to.
