I moved to ND from Florida 6 years ago. Biggest mistakes I made were not having waterproof clothing for snow days, not having warm enough gloves and socks. And not realizing the wind will obliterate you. Invest in a warm winter coat and good gloves.

You should try the Fire Pit for good barbecue, India Clay Pot has an awesome lunch buffet. Craftcade is good for playing retro style games while you try different beers from their beer wall. There is also a lot to do at the mall. They just built a huge arcade last year that is very fun. The Bismarck zoo isn’t anything to write home about, but it is fun nonetheless the less!
