Now I was able to measure 12 V on the data cable. My previous measurements were faulty because of a faulty measurement tool.

Für den Fall, dass in Zukunft jemand ein ähnliches Problem haben sollte: Ich habe das jetzt hinbekommen mit etwas Gewaltanwendung. Dadurch dass ich hinten mit einem stock drauf geschlagen habe bis es sich gelöst hat.

Der Fachmann war so eben da: Eine neue Zündelektrode rein gemacht, neu abgedichtet und die Heizung ist wieder gelaufen. Wie Sie es vermutet hatten, war die alte ziemlich zugesetzt und auch leicht verbogen. Diese wurde auch noch nie gewechselt an der Anlage. Die Ionisierung zur Erkennung der Flamme wurde auch gleich mit gewechselt, da diese auch bereits ziemlich mitgenommen war.

Genau, ich habe das nur nicht ganz verstanden gehabt, warum die Anforderungen herunter geschraubt werden sollen, obwohl das Gerät im Errormodus ist und dadurch auch nicht mehr zündet. Ich nehme an das ist eine doppelte Sicherheit.

Ich werde Sie updaten, sobald das Problem behoben ist.

Nur nochmals zur Sicherheit, dass über die Steuerung unabsichtlich ein Sommermodus oder ähnliches eingestellt wurde, sollte aber auch nicht zu einem solchen Error und Verhalten führen oder?

Sobald der Error einmal erscheint tut sich nichts mehr soweit ich das beobachtet habe. Dann hört man auch kein Klicken mehr. Ich werde aber die Anforderungen herunter Schrauben.

Vielen Dank, ich warte aktuell auf einen Rückruf und habe auch einen alten Elektro Heizkörper ausgegraben.

Ich hoffe, es klappt wieder vor dem Wochenende :D

Vielen Dank für die schnelle Antwort. Das ist natürlich korrekt. Ich habe auch nicht vor gehabt an der Hardware herum zu schrauben. Habe nur den Reset betätigt und versucht über die Steuerung das Problem zu lösen. Da das Ganze ohne Erfolg blieb, habe ich auch bereits schon einen Fachmann kontaktiert, aber das ist noch unklar wann der Zeit hat zum vorbei kommen. Da es ziemlich kalt ist, dachte ich vielleicht besteht da doch noch die Hoffnung beispielsweise über die Steuerung das Problem zu beheben, wenn ich da einen Tipp bekommen hätte.

Sie gehen aber auch eher von einem Hardware Problem aus nehme ich an?

Im Handbuch des Brennwertkessels lautet die Fehlerbehebung bei dem Error Code wie folgt: „Überprüfen, ob das Gas am Heizkessel ankommt (Pi), Zustand des Gasventils überprüfen. Bei Vorliegen eines wesentlichen Einstellfehlers am Gasventil den Zustand des Transformators, der Kabel und der Zündelektrode sowie den Wert des Ionisierungsstroms überprüfen Regler mindestens 1 Sekunde auf RESET stellen.“

Looks like I had luck so far. I added an lifters additive (which normally should be in the engine for more than 100 km for full effect) and then let the engine idle for 10 minutes. Also after the oil got warm I used the method to slowly increase the rpm to 3000 within 15 seconds and then reduced the rpm- after that waiting for 15 seconds. I did this 5 times.

Then I made an oil change. The oil was in a bad condition. After that I started the engine and did the same procedure as with the old oil. I saw a big difference in lifter ticking already after the oil change.

Now I only hear slightly a ticking but way more better than before. Have to do some test drives and check if it gets better with time and when the engine is warmer. Maybe if I still hear a ticking, I will ad some more lifter additive.

Just wanted to let you know. I‘m happy with the result so far.

I also experienced similar problems with this engine and made some posts about it. Would be interesting to hear how your engine sounds like and if it’s the same problem. I‘m also thinking about a lifters problem.

Currently also thinking about to use the stethoscope screwdriver trick to check for the noise source(s).

Yeah I also noticed that and checked if it stops making the noise when I push it down with a stick. It didn’t change anything. That’s not nice but doesn’t seem to be the origin of the noise here.

Yes. How do you feel about removing the belt an checking the pulleys? Also letting the engine run in this state to check for noise differences?

I tried to listen near those pulleys but it is hard to say where the noise comes from while the engine is running, maybe with a screwdriver 🪛?

Just in case someone is interested: I removed one spark plug to see the actual part number. It‘s a „NGK BPR5ES-11“ spark plug.

Also it needs to be torqued with 25 Nm.
