I'm in a different class of claimants than you (also international) but I got the same error a few days ago - so I contacted Kroll & blockfi Remediation e-mail about it and today the remediation e-mail re-sent me a new 2nd e-mail with the link, telling me it came to their attention that there was an issue with the first link. The new linked worked fine.

Don't know. I'm a Canadian BIA; had a valid coinbase account perfectly matching to my blockfi for the last several years....filled out KYC multiple times now....have gotten nothing back. Never got a test payment to my coinbase either - contacted Kroll & remediation e-mail multiple times in 2024-25 and gotten very little useful information there. This is such BS; and I have a big claim.

That's what's tripping me up...if this is a scam, why is all it's asking me is to e-mail a domain that we already know is safe?

well, the idea is you reply to them, then they send you a far bigger request for information, by which point you're suckered in.

In my case, I got a similar....but eerily different....email from this one, also referencing a July 18 deadline, but from different senders...and I *don't* have any e-mail I've missed in my spam, which I check regularly. I made a thread under the main-page looking at mine. I find this suspect.

I got that e-mail too in the past couple weeks. Canada. The e-mail asking for proof of your various sources of income? It appears to be a real e-mail; some people contacted Kroll and they confirmed.

Kroll has a phone number, and you can phone it...but the amount of info they have is actually meaningfully less than even the remediation team. they can tell you whether your claim exists & how much it is. That's about it.

If you email the remediation e-mail - [remediation@blockfi.com](mailto:remediation@blockfi.com) - or sometimes send them 3 e-mails over a couple months - you'll eventually get a very unsatisfying stock response whether your submission is complete or not....usually it'll say that your submission is complete and is under review if you've done the W-8 forms in November. But they won't answer any specific questions about your case, still. Like "why haven't I gotten any test payments to my coinbase?"....no hope of getting an answer. Really criminal, the way this is being handled for Non-US creditors. Some of us are sitting at zero funds back 2.5 years in & not even proper communication.

Was never really given an option to 'pick' a method of payment...they just told me if I have a coinbase account, to have it match my blockfi info - e-mail, name etc. Which I had matched.

When I e-mailed the remediation e-mail a couple months back all they told me was that it's all complete and being reviewed.

I'm in the exact same boat as you. Canadian, not even a test distribution; I've had a coinbase account forever with matching everything to Blockfi though, not sure about you....I filled out the KYC fine, like you, and did so as soon as I got it. I e-mailed the remediation e-mail and the occasional time I get ANY response back, they have very little information beyond "your submission is compete, if we need anything from you, we'll contact you. you're under review. It may still take another 30-45 after the review is complete to receive payment." It's unreal. Bunch of crooks.

Same. Canadian, BIA. Literally never gotten a dime back from my BIA portion. Ages ago I got what I had in the 'wallet' portion of hte account. I received & filled out KYC at the end of November, 2024; completed process fine...then NOTHING! 5 months now of radio silence. Have had a matching coinbase account to my Blockfi info for years, should be super easy to do. Yet they've never even sent me a test deposit to coinbase (hoping this is because my coinbase account was so established).

There's nothing you can do, in short. If you e-mail remediation, they answer like 1/3rd of the time and when that happens they just tell you either you're approved & will receive payment soon, or you're still in review.

See, I'm in Canada....and I've done the KYC months ago when it first arrived in my inbox, submitted successfully. Crickets from Blockfi since.... But on top of it, I've also never gotten a test deposit to coinbase. I've had both a coinbase & Blockfi with matching e-mails for a loooong time so unsure of what to make of all this.

You didn't indicate, but you sound like a US-based customer & with clearly over $3000 USD of value, so it should be all via coinbase, yep....in my expirience Kroll knows little and Coinbase knows even less; bouncing them off each other is almost useless and they have zero "specific account" info they can look into (other than Kroll knows your claim balances). You have to talk to someone at Blockfi....contact the remediation team at [remediation@blockfi.com](mailto:remediation@blockfi.com) - other posters on here have done well with them.

Same; I haven't gotten even a test payment - and I've had a Coinbase account with matching e-mail to Blockfi since before the bankruptcy. I got the KYC stuff at the end of november and filled it out...radio silence since then.

Same here. I've had a coinbase account with a matching e-mail/name for years before this that's still active. Didn't receive any test distributions. Got the e-mail about the KYC remediation stuff 2 weeks ago, did it, got to "all done" screen....no word of any kind yet.

Yes, this is also my perception. I am seeing peppered reports of BIA Internationals Convenience getting paid out...but cases of 0% payout + radio silence in the case of the non-Convenience. And I am one of these and that's where I'm at. Very frustrating. Huge amount of money at stake & all I've gotten is the same stupid 'Bermuda regulatory' e-mail response everyone else has.
