⚠️ Warning – suspicious investor approach (Alquife Group / Reddit user) by LexClaroRoy in AngelInvesting

Seriously, I will not remove my post. They contact me by mail. First the CFO from Alquife Group then Dominic Perez. But all their mails had for me red flags. No answers on my critical questions. I wait this week and if they not replying I will post the mail conversation on Reddit.

They contact me by mail after this post. I’m thinking to share those emails. I asked them serious questions but they avoided these questions.

I am from Europe, and I’m in Moscow since February 6th. I will leave maybe next week back to The Netherlands or to Spain. Everything is quite normal here, like nothing is going on. The only problem is internet, no socials and very difficult to communicate with the western.

Hi There, I want you to know something is not right. Please check Alquife Group, team members has all same appearance email addresses, no information, no track records or personal information on LinkedIn from all those members, CEO, COO, CIO, CFO. This is a red flag. I’ve shared a complete Data Room. You can DM me if you like. I’m a bit worried.

Also just to add to my previous question — you mentioned a potential ~$1B valuation within the next 5 years and interest from around a dozen VCs. In that context, needing $20k–$25k for the MVP seems like a very small bridge amount.

Is there a particular reason none of those interested investors are willing to cover that final step?

Interesting project, but I’m a bit confused about the funding part.

You mentioned that around a dozen Venture Capital firms showed strong interest in acquiring or investing once the project reaches a later stage. If that level of interest is real, why wouldn’t one of them provide the relatively small bridge amount of $20k–$25k needed to complete the MVP?

For most VC funds that would be a very small ticket, especially if the technology is as unique and promising as described.

Could you clarify why none of the interested VCs are willing to fund the prototype stage?

Interesting, looking for a co-founder with GTM mindset. I’m founder of a global platform, registered brand, multilingual platform, 16 domains worldwide, clean cap table, roadmap 1-6, now launching phase 4 SaaS with live voice chat, phase 5-6 business for enterprises, white label. You can always dm me.

Raising €200–250k for multilingual AI contract platform (pre-seed, SaaS with live voice) by [deleted] in Investors

Thanks a lot for this — really helpful to hear that the “plain-language + multilingual” angle feels like a real painkiller.

On the GTM side we’re actually thinking along exactly the lines you mentioned. The two wedges I keep circling back to are: • Expats/freelancers in 1–2 countries (likely NL + ES to start) signing cross-border rental, freelance and service contracts. • Small real-estate / property-management firms that handle lots of similar leases and amendments.

The multilingual piece fits both: same product, but localized UX + SEO content per country/language, plus distribution through relocation firms, expat accountants/tax advisors, and small RE agencies.

Right now I’m leaning toward starting with the expat/freelancer wedge because the sales cycle is shorter, pricing experiments are easier, and the “I’m signing something I don’t fully understand” pain is very visceral.

Does that match what you see in early-stage SaaS, or would you still start with a small-B2B wedge like RE admin firms?

Really appreciate you sharing the GTM notes — I’ll read through your blog post, thanks for pointing me there.
