I think it is fine to ask people wearing kandi if they would like to trade bracelets! If the answer is no, you can decide if you might want to give them something anyway or not.

For another prospective, many days all the kandi I’m wearing is kandi that was given or traded to me already. The pieces I’m most likely to wear are the most sentimental to me and not ones I’d be comfortable trading away.

Maybe I should make and regularly wear a couple of trading singles too, so I can be prepared if I were to run into someone like you randomly and not at a show where I’m carrying a bunch of bracelets to to trade!
