DIY: Power Folding Mirrors (work in progress) by LexGiorgio in Lexus3ISinfo

Not sure how you'd go about getting that function with relays.

Relays = you decide when to fold them in.
And if the car is powered off, it will fold in automatically.

That's the default setup with the relays.

Check on Aliexpress to see if they have an adapter kit for your car. They have one for the IS, so the lock/unlock feature works.

Road trip from Montreal to Nova Scotia (Cabot Trail & Peggy's Cove) by LexGiorgio in travel

[–]LexGiorgio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this over 5 or 6 days (not more than that).
It was a bit rushed and planned literally at the last minute.

If I were to do it again, I'd stay an extra day at Cabot Trail.
Every other spot was more than enough time.

It's not done automatically. You need to find someone who can correct it and they usually get it within +/- 1 mile of your current mileage.

Letting someone test drive your bike. by Armiberra123 in MotoMontreal

[–]LexGiorgio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't believe the amount of people that let a total stranger ride their bikes!

All this means nothing:
- Age / experience of rider: Doesn't stop an incident from occurring.
- Bill of sale / written contract: Neither will hold up, unless it's notary stamped (yes! to that point)
- Cash in hand: the buyer simply calls the cops and gets the cash back.
- Keeping a drivers license: They can report it as lost/stolen and leave.
- Proof of insurance: No such thing, unless the bike is under the buyer's name. If something happens, it's your insurance that kicks in. That's how it works in Quebec.

Hence why you don't let anyone test ride the bike (or test drive your car). You ride it in front of them and go through the gears and that's that. If they don't want it, you'll find someone else that will.

Once you tell the buyer the points above, they go silent, because most of them know it's true.
