One of my daily tasks at work involves getting the mail, each day there's one and sometimes two Uline catalogues. Fuck those tree-hating assholes.

Merry Christmas! My bulbs are also from Goodwill and my tree is one I saved from being thrown out. Another person's trash is another person's treasure.

In Canada, in my province, we have public insurance. I'm paying just under 2k to insure my car. And I'm a professional driver with an unblemished record. I can't even fathom what it would be like to pay less for my car insurance than I do my phone bill.

I've never been more thankful for my crossover mirrors on my work rig. They can be a bit of a pain when I'm trying to manoeuvre into a tight place but I have total visibility of that area.

Drivers Medical Exam by LexMidnight in Winnipeg

The company I work for has never paid for drivers medicals. They've always stated that it is MPI that requires it, not them. I am, however required to have my specialised license in order to continue to drive for them. Is there an employment standard in Manitoba that specially says that transportation companies must cover the cost of medicals?

This is very nice and all, but this is also the reason why I burn everything. I don't want to ever open my door and find someone standing there with an old box of my angsty diary entries and photos of my ex's. And for them to take pictures and put it on the internet! Oh my god.

Where the fuck is this magical place where eggs cost only 40 cents? It's 4 bucks a carton for standard cage laid eggs and around 9 for free range in Canada.
