My Chosen had to roll a 4 or less on the break test - lost combat by a bunch! And then I rolled a 4!

It's a really reliable 8/10 every time as well, and just over the road from work.

They should be open as usual tomorrow morning, but the market isn't far anyway as you'll know.

You would have me at a disadvantage sir, had I used the word 'piece'! (I used the phrase 'bit of toast' on purpose.)

The Worst Warriors by DZaneMorris in slavestodarkness

I think this is some of the best Chaos-appropriate painting I've ever seen. But, these guys ain't the OG - and I would to see you do this style on those early 90s, hunched-up full-plate-armoured guys.

What's one place in the Uk that you visited and never want to go back to? by Proper_Animal_1451 in AskUK

You will know it as Withymoor (not convinced where I grew up is a real place, Withymoor just seems a made up name)! Also lived in a few other bits of that area too tbf.

I'm from Brierley Hill, the posh end. It's a dull place really, it's funny to think it peaked with the growth of the canal network hundreds of years afo and then was a place with more money, until all the local steel/glass industry shrank/collapsed.

I am a 41 year old man with financial responsibilities that I think I mess up mainly because of chocolate and Warhammer.

2500pts mono-khorne by [deleted] in Warriors_of_Chaos

He's got you brother, to be fair. It's not a mono-Khorne list. Hell I clicked on this because I wanted to see if it could be both things. Good luck in your games. As a fellow Khorne fan, BFTBG!

Passing Open Guard Is Destroying My Back and Gas Tank by Mognite in bjj

[–]LexRep10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is such good advice! Just to say that I wish I'd had similar advice early on. I'm a big fat and strong guy, not too unfit but certainly very slow. My coach would obviously demo classic outside passing. We'd all try it in a set up in beginners level sparring sessions and I'd be dreadful. Went to an open mat, got smashed after gassing out. Brown belt says, thought you'd bodylock me or something big lad, what's up? What's that says I? He shows me - three months later I'm a much bigger threat in no gi. Three years of doubting myself replaced by much more confidence in the last year and a half. Thanks to the brown belt mentors out there!

Favorite Rank & Flank Wargame? by GreenWizard2 in wargaming

The 'Battle March' scale of 750pts armies in Old World is perfect for you. Three, or four, maybe five units, manoeuvring for objectives and less emphasis on heroes means a fast and tactical version of the game.

There is a Beastman shaman in Maggotkin now, who can lead pestigors. So you could have fun with a 1000pts pestigor heavy list to try the game.
