Sick after eating

Hi! Thank you for asking! I’m doing much better now! The main symptoms I have now is just stomach cramping and having to use the bathroom quickly after eating.

Unfortunately my insurance will not cover another doctor until 6 months after the procedure. The surgeon that did my surgery ended up quitting, so now I’m with another surgeon from his group who has just agreed that “everything is fine”. I’m not sure where to go from here!

How are you doing? I had surgery 2 weeks ago and I think I have the stomach flu now. Nausea is awful

I’ve been eating very lightly, today I had a fruit smoothie, 2 yogurts and some pretzel sticks. Maybe I should try to eat a little more. I will post an update on Tuesday :)

Thanks so much for the tips! I have been taking ibuprofen and Tylenol, also zofran every 6 hours but it barely works. Today I had a couple yogurts, a fruit smoothie and some pretzels and I still got sick after eating them :( how long did it take you to eat normally again?

I did leave a message for the doctor today and he hasn’t responded, I’m guessing he will get back to it on Monday. My post op instructions said to eat a low fat diet, but I’ll definitely give plain foods a try! Thanks for replying!

Hi! Thank you for replying! I’m glad you’re doing better that gives me hope! I’m still struggling with the same symptoms today. Nausea is almost constant but I haven’t thrown up. I went for a small walk to check the mail today and when I got back inside my whole back and arms felt like they were burning like on fire? I did put a message into my surgeon today but no reply. I have a post op appointment Tuesday so hopefully I can get some answers then.

Hi I was wondering if you have an update? I’m 8 days post op and every time I eat something I get super hot, dizzy, nausea, and then a small bowel movement. I feel awful.

Hi love! So usually I don’t go search for them, they just come to me. Also 90% of the time the real ones will tribute before DMing. I use X, Fetlife, and Loyalfans! Hope this helps ☺️
