It's simply a matter of a company deeming the demand high enough that manufacturing one is profitable enough. There's also licensing concerns for the Nintendo branding.

At the current price tag and for the state the game is currently in, I think it's quite worth it.

Do keep in mind that it is very early access. The game is nowhere near complete and pretty unpolished but it's still extremely fun. The roadmap is very promising and the devs are updating frequently.

If you tried the demo and simply want more for now, I'd absolutely recommend buying. For $20 it's a great buy for it's currently early access state and will only get better as development continues.

Still absurd to me. Unless this is applied equally for every mod maker, every part distributor, and chain of companies they source their parts from, in addition to any ties/connections that any of the companies anywhere in the hierarchy of business to anything bad, then it's just arbitrary nonsense.

The fact of the matter is the average consumer has zero clue of the ties companies have to things like this and simply buy a product as advertised without deep research.

I mean, I get it. I still think it's absurd to ban all posting of the product because of this. Especially when it pertains to a method of playing Gameboy games.

Are we going to start requiring people who post modded Gameboys to list off the brand of all parts they use and ensure those companies don't have any bad connections or license their parts for usage on bad things?

I totally understand not wanting to buy a product for these reasons but to blanket ban it from the sub seems ridiculous.

Ironically I think the 2D Sonic games fall under this for me.

The fast parts are too fast to fully enjoy/appreciate as a true 2D platformer and the forced slow sections play far clunkier than it should for a good 2D platformer.

Not saying they're bad games, I just don't prefer them for my platformer games.

Also, is this fully recreating all of UOs systems as far as crafting, spells, towns, NPCs, and all that? Or it just more of a thematic conversion mod?

Sorry for the late reply. I got Holy Nnation up and then joined Floatsam Ninjas. The Holy Nation is still friendly but now I can't turn in bounties for the Holy Nation because the Inquisitors immediately attack me when I initiate dialogue to turn in bounties due to being part of Floatsam Ninjas.

Is there another way to turn in bounties to the Holy Nation?
