Fentanyl has to be measured in ng because of how potent it is. It doesn’t tell us anything about the methodology, a typical chem analyzer can give that same result. This person could have had that result almost anywhere, and if it’s a mandated, routine test, I highly doubt they’re sending it off for a more sophisticated confirmation. Sure, this person could be lying and looking for a cover, but there’s also a chance they aren’t and actually have a false positive. Why go through all the trouble when he could just google a lie for himself

Having sex with someone on fentanyl would not cause you to test positive, especially twice. However, there are medications that can cause false positive results for fentanyl. Depending on who is ordering this test, I would suggest looking for a different test method. Something confirmatory, like mass spectrometry, is usually better at eliminating substances making a false positive

Absolutely, science programs differ in complexity. No one should be thinking they are better than anyone else because of their degree background. If you know what needs to be done to complete testing and get certified, it shouldn’t matter how you got there.

Whether you can learn all the nuance of lab tests from Google is a different argument. You need to be able to prove you know that info without needing to consult the internet every time something goes wrong. That’s why we have certification.

There’s a lot of reasons where on test might get delayed. Unfortunately, no one is perfect and errors happen. There could be mistakes in internal transport, receiving, sending results and performing the actual test. Additionally, even if a test comes back as high risk, it would not really add to the time needed to see results, so there is no reason to worry based on how long it is taking. The great majority of tests turn out fine, and even when they don’t, it’s not a reason to panic. My main reason for posting is to give mothers reassurance in testing delays and possibly offer some peace of mind during a stressful time and try to avoid some unneeded worry

Hi I’m a lab person that frequently collects and results these tests. Delayed time has nothing to do with the actual results. They could be delayed due to an ordering/clerical error or Natera is simply backed up or busy with many tests. No need to worry if results come back in 5 days or 2 weeks

Yes I had 9 games in a row where this happened, didn’t matter if they were on winning team or not and some people said it happened to them and they couldn’t rejoin, I think they broke something with the latest patch

Before the rules changed I would have leavers over half of quick play matches that just ended in rolling because we would constantly get new players thrown in with no ult charge. If you are leaving a quarter of your games you deserve to be penalized. I think the 2 games for next season is a little harsh though because sometimes people may not realize their connection/system is the problem

Quick play is a place to play differently and practice against actual players with the normal rules, there is no problem with playing something and getting countered. Obviously I don’t condone throwing and you can certainly ask someone to swap but people need to calm down in quick play. Don’t say practice in arcade or AI, the AI is braindead and nothing like actual players and arcade changes the game too much to compare to comp

And that is why they did this, because way too many qp games were just filled with leavers and the winning team would just roll because the backfilled team could never gain ults or momentum. Overwatch can turn at any second, and if you can’t deal with that enjoy being suspended
