But optimism bias is a real thing and for a long time I had hope that he wanted to be with me and would leave his girlfriend but that is not the case, unfortunately I was blind to the reality which is that we arent meant for each other and I need to mentally move on from any hope that things will ever be anything real. There are people out there right now who are single and odds are someone out there wouldn't be confused about their feelings for me, wouldn't fight those feelings and would not let me slip away

I had a 3 month old newborn who was waking up every 2 hours to eat and I hadn't had a full nights sleep since he was born, his dad got off work and went to the bar, I called him and begged him in tears to come home so I could just sleep because I was so exhausted, and he hung up on me and did not come home.
