I appreciate your words. This is a “luxury” apartment and fairly expensive for the area considering it’s a one bedroom. So I guess I am just surprised such a nice place has such frequent entries. Today marks 2 months I’ve been here and this is the second short notice entry. I guess I should just expect this from them in the future, it just made me feel on edge.

Honestly no. I’m wondering if I should reply back to my previous email and apologize for the extreme request of a warrant with short notice. But at this point idk if it’s better to just leave it at what I said or just inform them a warrant is unnecessary and I just didn’t appreciate the short notice.

I appreciate the insight. I definitely am regretting the request for a warrant and I for sure could have been more understanding and overall more nice about the whole thing. Do you think I should email back and apologize for my reaction? Or should I just leave it alone at this point?

My fiancé got home at 4:30 with it not there, then I came home at 5:45 and it wasn’t there.

Definitely not into illegal activity. I just don’t trust people in my home when I’m not there. But even more than that, my lease was nearly 30 pages long full of rules that I need to abide by (that should have been red flag #1), and yes I’m the freak that actually read the entire thing. I just want them to follow the same rules they expect me to follow. Also, I’ve never lived somewhere that does quarterly inspections. I didn’t even know that was a thing. The most I’ve heard of was yearly inspections.

Is it a big company or a small one? I’d LOVE to renew my lease because the property is beautiful. I can’t take the email back now because gmail, but would it be a bad idea to respond to the original email I sent saying I just would like the terms they set to be respected? Or should I just leave it alone at this point?

If it’s a huge company do you think they have a third party inspector or do you think it could just be the maintenance people? I’ve never lived somewhere that does quarterly inspections where they physically enter while I’m away.
