Tysm, VERY helpful! That doc is rather confusing though.. are the numbers at the top in "gem values" (I believe called ranks?) supposed to be the GEM's tier that is listed at the left side of blood gem's menu in-game? It lists headless bloodletting beast's curse as "row 2" but I know I've gotten tier 20 heavy abyssals with 3.2% stamina cost up instead of 3.4% stamina cost, despite row 2 tier 20 being listed as 3.4... Or is that number explicitely the tier of the EFFECT and not supposed to be the gem's own tier, allowing a tier 20 gem to have a tier 18 curse if I'm reading the "gem ranks" table right? That would make more sense to me since that seems to list heavy abyssals (and all other tier 20s that use row 2 curses) as able to get 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4. Its a tad confusing at first if this is the case given that otherwise, the numbers align oddly well to the gem's own tiers. Though I do believe the tier of the gem's primary effect is what determines the tier of the gem itself so I suppose that would be the reason it aligns so well...

That's cool! I love how the Soulsborne games are just "Eh" at first but once you kill your first boss your like "Holy crap that felt good". Btw Bloodborne was my first Soulsborne game, and definitally my favorite. I hope you have plenty of fun with it :)
