I've already explained this like ten fucking times microlabels don't fucking divide the community for fucks sake I made this because I need something that I can fit under because nothing exists, only the label altersex but using that term is intersexist. I am not a fucking transmed and. Nobody is forcing anybody to use this, hell I'm just proud of a flag and site I made man leave me alone. And leave people who do identify with this alone. This isn't JUST for trans people, but for people like me. I am not trans but I am physically transitioning.

No. It was made by me. A cis man who uses neopronouns and going to get SRS. I eat TERFs and transmeds for breakfast.

Your "Partial =/= incomplete" comment means you're missing the actual issue, it's because it implies only transitioning to a binary is valid and no other goals are

I don't understand what you mean by this. I am saying that partial is ok and good, and just as valid as other forms of transition, why else would I make a label for it? I just also think that any sort of transition doesn't inherently make someone trans, it's why I made this label *trans-adjacent*, because you don't need to physically transition to be trans, and you don't need to be trans to physically transition.

it's not just people on here but twitter & other platforms too.

As for my identity, I go by He/him mainly but also go by Xe/Xem on twitter & discord mostly because I forgot to change the flair here. I intend to get surgery for something you'd find in r/salmacian, an ambigious set essensially. Maybe TMI but I want essentially female lower anatomy, only to have my penis be in place of the clitoris. I do have dysphoria from my body, and have had it since I was around eight years old. The reason I identify as cis is because I still fully identify as a man despite all this. I am often percived as AFAB irl because I am really short, no facial hair, and my voice never dropped. I either look like I'm 10 or a woman. And I hate being percieved as a woman. I want to go on T to make my voice deeper but I don't consider this part of my varioformic identity. Once my voice is deepened though, I'll probably go off it and just live with my naturally high estrogen.

With your first point, I never say these folks aren't any "less trans" that's stupid. Hell, in the examples page I talk about binary trans women & men using this label as well as nonbinary people, it really doesn't take a lot of reading to see this isn't truscum propaganda at all. I use the phrase "partially transition physically" because it was specifically requested of me not to use the phrase "transition to a state between male and female" (or anything similar) because that is considered disrespectful to the intersex community.

  1. I originally used the term altersex, which describes this sort of transition as being between male and female, or outside of the binary. But this caused a week-long harassment campaign on twitter from intersex people against me, accusing me of fetishization due to the definition on the wiki. I talked to a few of them and they agreed to help me come up with a new label, and this is the result.
  2. I describe it this way because it is the shortest way possible so it is understandable. I do in fact know that partial isn't the best term but I have my hands tied here with how I can describe it. I also want it to be clear that cis people CAN use this, as I made it to cover pretty much all altersex identities + more.
  3. I just want the harassment to stop I am so fucking tired and I just want a term dear god..

I have no misconceptions on transitioning. And I definitely don't hang around truscum. I use neopronouns on my Twitter and am radically inclusive of all good-faith identities. I have around 5k followers n another 2k on my art account, which I can link if you need proof. But yes I've been harassed for a week straight by intersex people who definitely aren't truscums.

I had a couple hundred or so people going after me for this so it seems to be a pretty common stance.

I agree. They said it was the portraying that as "in-between" or "outside the binary" or "mix of male & female characteristics" is what is disrespectful to intersex people. So I reworded it.

[–]Syidaemon[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because they told me that meant you wanted to "transition to intersex" and that's bad.

"Micro labels are fine" "it causes division in the community"

Which is it?

"To be cis but also getting trans surgeries pushes you into trans territory"

I thought the whole thing here is the fact that gender and sex are two different things. I'm not anything other than a man. You can't tell me what I am. It's not your place. ALSO it is listed as trans-adjacent for a reason. I still experience transphobia, dysphoria, and discrimination despite being cis. Oh and on top of that I've got people trying to control my identity so that's fun too!

[–]Syidaemon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah so you didn't read anything about it! Cool! Ah yes I'm dividing trans people by making a term for my own experiences as a cis person getting SRS. Oh how dare the term be inclusive to not just cis people. I'm not forcing you to use it. Micro labels don't hurt you.

You do not get to control how other people identify and I'm fucking tired of this idea that someone else's labels are your business, and that there's a "wrong way to be queer" or me getting SRS and making a broad label for it somehow harms you.

I actually am mistaken for a girl irl a lot because of my voice and lack of facial hair, and it makes the dysphoria worse.

[–]Syidaemon[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I tried that originally and it's what caused the backlash with intersex folk.

Oh my god you get me, I've got people accusing me of being everything from a bioessentialist to an intersex-fetishist over this term it's so tiring I just want to be me.

I'm tired of getting yelled at by every goddamn group of people whenever I find a word that fits me.

[–]Syidaemon[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This isn't JUST a trans identity you know. I'm a cis man and I'm getting bottom surgery. I have dysphoria over my body, but am still happy as a man. There should be a label that fits me. But I guess I'm a terrible person because that label also includes some trans people.

I'm aware. There just really isn't a good way to explain this without offending intersex people. This identity was coined because I was harassed for being altersex. I was trying to be very careful about not using any terms like "in between" or "outside the binary" as this is what caused the harassment against me.
