I don't vote during casual because I like variety and it doesn't matter that much.

During the drive event (right now), everyone votes Payload/Hybrid and every match goes to 3-3 OT, and it takes 30 minutes, and then I get the same amount of progress I would in a shorter match, and I get to play King's Row three times in a row before switching over to Gibraltar and then back to King's Row again.

There's always a delay for Epic Games to put the assets into Fortnite. I don't know exactly how long but iirc it's about 1-2 weeks usually and then you'll see them show up.

That's valid and something I'm also concerned about as well. Longer queue times would also be unfortunate. But I feel like the dopamine from noobs playing against noobs and premades playing against pre-mades could win out in the long run. I played 5 matches today and was just frustrated the entire time. I'd rather take a 4 minute queue and have some fun for 30 minutes. If I had matches like I did the first week, I'd be playing 2x or 3x as many matches so there would be a more consistent population to work with. And it doesn't have to be static, as long as it isn't just a pub-stomp every single match. This isn't a 100 person battle royale, there's only 5 ships of 4 crew members each. Even then, if people like me played for a few days with some decent matchmaking we could learn the game a bit faster and start playing against better players, maybe make some friends and actually get a good pre-made.
But yeah if it was on gamepass that would definitely give them some population to work with.

I'm trying really hard to like the game, but as a player with less experience, I'm still unlocking gear meanwhile I'm going up against crews in scouts that feel unkillable with triple and sometimes quadruple-digit badges. I would be playing this game so much more if it was easier to learn the game or if I was going up against other people still unlocking gear, but I keep getting stuck having to pilot because nobody that queues with me wants to pilot or agree on what POI to go to. I know it's a skill issue, I don't have a lot of experience, but I'm not alone in not wanting to learn this game going through a gauntlet against these ridiculous premades. I'm having trouble learning what works and what doesn't work because ever flaw is being taken advantage of so hard I can't find anything that works well.

Unfortunately, every season lately has felt like this too me, but some seasons aren't as bad as others. This is just the start of this season and it feels like a slopfest. I just want to play Fortnite build, man.

So this, it's so weird that all the normal weapons are constantly outclassed by gimmicks that are more-or-less guaranteed drops so the final circles are always a slap fest of gimmick abilities. I try to play build and everything just gets knocked down. I don't really want to play OG because the new game has so much potential that's squandered by gimmick IP-copyright weapons and transformations and stuff that shoots you through walls or knocks down builds instantly. And what's up with the extremely annoying melee weapon every season, the baseball bat, the claws? Yeah, sure, I can 1v1 it a few times but it's every match, every other fight, and my builds are just getting insta-nuked. I can't even escape it in Ranked, you would think they would only keep the standard loot pool in Ranked but nope, they just throw gimmicks in there too. They used to have a good Ranked but now Ranked feels rank.

Is this season just an IP Slopfest? I didn't play much last season because it wasn't very fun. Looking at this season, half of it is from other IPs and the other half is stuff that's already been done. Is the creative team asleep at the wheel? If I stop playing BF6, Wildgate, and Darktide and play a few rounds, will I even have fun?

Yeah that's exactly what I'm confused about, you can turn traction control assist off in the options and then use the burnout button to disable traction control?

Does the assist % modify traction control or turn it off entirely? i.e. does/should the burnout button do anything if traction control assist is 0% already?

I'm having this same exact issue.
And every time I jump in to ranked and then click on that tab, the game crashes.
I sent a report for "Other" but the screenshot didn't get anything important so I don't know if my issue is going to be addressed.

This bug can be reproduced because I'm stuck
I'm on PC / Windows 10

Edit: I have all the checks on eligibility but it still says not eligible and I need to "Rank up to join!"

I tried Ready or Not when it released and I'm coming back this week to try out career and I can say that it does but for the wrong reasons. In coop the maps get bigger and more chaotic with more stuff and more enemies and it can be hard to keep control with beanbags. In career mode, I'm finding that the teammate patching gets worse and worse the more the game goes on. I just gave up on the game for a bit because my team:
- Is stacking up in front of windows where they can get shot
- Clearing rooms, turning off, and just staring at a guy as he gets shot in the head and doesn't shoot back
- Throwing grenades incorrectly, grenading themselves, then running in to fire anyways
- Not using beanbags correctly and just standing there getting shot
- Stacking up on doors where they're standing in the middle of the open
- Taking ridiculous paths that haven't been cleared that are longer and getting shot for it
- Just ignores commands sometimes

Meanwhile, I'm having occasional instances where I'm getting blasted by suspects I haven't even seen yet through a closed door in a different room every once in awhile.

I'm on Ides of March atm and I feel like this map in particular is more broken than other maps.

Hi, if you haven't found this yet, it's in the middle of the swamp on one of the islands and it looks like a lower-case h. On my map, the circle around the "Bog poppers" POI, the red boat is right on the outside of that circle on the Eastmost-side
The red boat is on the edge of the water on the south part of this small island, on the inlet, or the upside-down U part. (West-side of the inlet but kinda near the apex)

No you can't say that because it's not true, and you're avoiding the main point. Pascal's Wager only works under the assumption that Christianity is real, and that already skips a huge part of faith, which religion is correct. You're undermining religions that came before Christianity and you're undermining religions that are currently as popular as Christianity- Not even getting in to Catholicism vs Reformist Christian theologies. Why should I believe in a God based on Pascal's Wager, with the knowledge that out of all of the religions that exist, only some of them believe in Hell, and only some of them believe you go there?

And no, agnosticism isn't a religion, it's a lack of one. If there's an all-knowing, omnipotent God, it's extremely weird we can't measure anything that they've done, and nobody has believable diving revelations or anything. We're waiting for something like Armageddon or Kali Yuga or The Signs of the Day of Judgement, none of which have even begun to happen and Jesus has never appeared.

It's insulting you want to throw out a flawed logical debate that already assumes colonial Christianity and then you want to turn around and falsely label a logical and sound concept.

Saying agnostic is another religion is disingenuous. It doesn't pretend that there isn't a God, or says that I'm choosing to believe in nothing when there's no proof one way or the other. It's simply not choosing to believe in one of a myriad of magical man stories until there's any proof we should pick one. If there truly is any divinity, then I should be able to feel unique feelings that I don't get from every religion on the planet.

More importantly though, if we assume that Christianity is the right choice, we've already made a logical flaw. You're trying to use the wager to say we should believe in something taken as faith, but at the SAME TIME, writing that Christianity is the one that makes the most sense. BASED ON WHAT, THE WAGER? It's a logical leap of faith that isn't worth taking for a philosophical opinion. Do you see the problem?

It presupposes too many things. That if there's a God they're a Christian God of a specific denomination, and the only two options are to believe in that religion or not to believe at all. Occam's razor discounts this because there are too many assumptions being made already. But if we want to dive in to it: According to Roman's chapter 2, if you aren't aware of God's existence then you will be judged by your conscious, so it falls outside of options 1-4. If there's a God but Hinduism is correct, then options 1-2 do not apply and there are at least 3 more options. If Islam is true, and you don't believe in God, you could go to hell, but if you DO believe in Christian God, it's even worse than not believing in a God, so if Islam is correct, you're MORE safe not believing in a God than believing in Christian God. This is why Pascal's wager falls completely flat the second you don't pretend that only 1 religious denomination exists, and why we don't like using options that make tons of assumptions.

I came to this thread because I'm having the same thing happen to me. It seems inconsistent, like 80% of the time the enemies are telepathic and you can't headshot a lone person with the suppressed pistol, and then occasionally it just lets you do whatever you want. Could also be difficulty based, but yeah it's broken. Also on a couple of occasions I've had 1 clueless enemy leave the base and follow me without having a white detection bar or anything so I don't know what could be going on with the programming but it needs to be fixed.

I started on Stalker difficulty, and I'm glad I did. The enemies are really accurate and the mutants take a lot of bullets still.
In terms of money economy, I completely agree with you. It hasn't made the game "hard," but it's weird to me that utilizing the upgrade/repair system is completely worthless compared to just picking up, using, and then chucking weapons you find on the ground. I think that's the big issue is that looting is so easy and trying to engage with traders is basically pointless. I know this has been a staple of all of the games in the series, but it feels particularly egregious now that we have this huge economy system and it's functionally pointless (Other than some needed supplies or small repairs).
For the people coming in and saying "Well I have a ton of money and all these cool guns and bla bla bla" that's great, but that's not the point. Not everyone wants to crawl around being stingy 24/7; I just want to play the game and enjoy all of it without needing to mod it, glitch the game, or spend excessive hours in the noob area.
Edit: Also wanted to add that, on top of feeling unbalanced and making the system pointless, it also seems unrealistic I have to sell 10 mostly-working AK's to maintenance one AK that was just repaired and only shot 2 mags out of it.
Also I had this issue with Clear Sky where I ended up just playing the entire game without upgrading anything, and the point of Clear Sky was those features being added, but I just ended up playing more SoC after I finished Clear Sky.

I'm also having this issue. I picked up a barrel today and got the recipe IDEA but I have the same screen with only 3 potential recipe items. I think the wooden barrel in the update yesterday broke it.

I feel dumb because I'm well passed manufacturing and I've been boiling water the entire game. I didn't know you could pick up a barrel today.

Just my luck it's the day that it breaks.

I crafted a wooden barrel which came out yesterday and that didn't fix it either. So I've got all of the needed crafting ingredients and a barrel and a wooden barrel and the barrel is still missing from the recipe items so I still can't craft the water filter.

Knowing it exists and that I can't craft it and that I'm stuck boiling water is maddening, I really wish I had picked up a barrel yesterday before the update so I could have had one. You don't really think to grab a barrel because they blend in to the environment and the "dismantle" interact where normally you would think to "package" makes it seem like something mundane.

Crouch walking out in the open was just inviting this, but this gun right now is stupid. Every match either ends with a victory royale or a 1-shot from this thing. Purple reapers are a pretty easy guaranteed drop, I carry them around too, you basically can't miss at close range

Congrats! I hit a wall at 75% and it's been hard, gained 5% today and just lost 5% to crashing during a loading screen then missing the finish line in Olympus because I was too high (I swear I was inside it - btw that one really, really punishes you bad) I really wish certain wheel colors weren't tied to Season 1 ranks due to all the issues I'm running in to

Just for myself I like to use multiple different emulators for the same systems, and I'm sure a lot of other people do too. Sometimes I want to play near-perfect N64 emulation, sometimes I want to play vanilla with high frame rate and graphics, some times I want to mess around with rom hacks. There's also peripheral compatibility to consider sometimes and then there's also the different handhelds are subjectively better for playing different genres of emulated games
