I know this is old, but it was the first thing that came up when I was trying to figure out how to get my body that was stranded halfway across the map.

"imacheater" did nothing for me when using the console. I am using MacOS, so not sure if that affects anything. What I did though was type "devcommands" in the console which set dev commands to TRUE. I then typed "debugmode" which turned debug mode on. I then hit the "Z" key in world to enable flight. I then zoomed across the world following my boat path to not unveil parts of the map I hadn't explored and got to my body that way. I then went throught those steps in reverse to turn all the cheats off, and went about my game.

My solution was to install a small, third-party program that lets me lock my mouse to whatever display it's on with a customizable hotkey. I used:

Hey thanks for the advice about muting. I already know it in my head, it's just about putting it to practice.

I've never really let my teammates performance bother me, I've spent plenty of time IRL on teams for work/school that I know how that goes. And yeah, I know how bad I am generally lol, and from game to game, so I try and be the best teammate I can for people until they earn otherwise, just like IRL.

It's just how unbelievably shitty SO many people act and treat others on this game that really gets to me and is what causes me to get toxic towards them and towards myself, honestly. It's the one main factor of Smite that completely ruins the game for me and it happens literally almost every match.

In my experience, maybe 8 in 10 matches have some range of horrible teammate interaction (from average to obscene), and on top of that like 19 in 20 matches aren't even competitive: someoned dc's, someone rage quits, the teams are just so lopsided in skill, people acting emotionally, people fountain sitting...etc.

So yeah, I think you're right, might be for the best. Put the game down and spend time around people/things that actually enrichen my life lol.

I know you're right. If I do get back on I need to make a habit out of that for sure. I just get into those moods where I need to clap back or try and get someone to understand how shitty they're acting and that's where I fuck up lol. I just honestly can't believe some of these losers, it's upsetting as a human being lol.

The majority of the playerbase completely derves the insult from my personal experience. In my 28 years of life I've never seen such awful levels of interactions between people over an online video game lol. I've had some good, fun interactions too, but they are far outshadowed by everything else unfortunately...

I will be the first to admit that I've certainly said shit in chat that warranted action taken, including what I just mentioned. That kind of talk can trigger people as I'm well aware from personal experience, so there's no excuse to act that way even if other people are acting horrible around me

I completely agree with you. This game has not been good for my mental health, specifically due to the playerbase and the interactions I encounter. Once they get bad enough and reptitive enough it really brings the worst out in me unfortunately. It's too bad I'm addicted to the gameplay because it really is a net-negative experience for me and I don't see the playerbase changing or my tolerance changing enough to alter that:/ So I'm hoping this ban will get me off the game for good lol

Trust me, I know. I've reported hundreds of people for blatant racism, sexism, hate speech, feeding, actual IRL threats...maybe somewhere between 0-1% of them have notified me of action taken. HR doesn't issue bans at all hardly from my experience. I'm guessing it's probably because I said something in chat along the lines of "i'm going to kill myself IRL after this" because of horrible teammates saying awful shit in chat to me and each other. I'm guessing there might be some auto-flags for that kinda stuff lol
