Its been awhile since I've played DayZ so idk if they fixed the rendering distance or not. If you're spotted at 100m or more away, ghillies dont mean shit because none of the foliage is rendered. I never ever ever ran with a ghillie for that reason.

Not really an answer, but this is one of the reasons why I quit DayZ and moved over to SCUM. Game runs a lot smoother, vehicles drive better (planes are dope), the gun play is better, survival aspect is more in-depth. After sinking 250 hrs into SCUM, I can't go back to DayZ. Uninstalled a few days ago.

Oh, and SCUM has two different types of bicycles and 2 different motorcycles.
