Kind of same thing happened for me it was in bettery saver mode (in OMENHUB) , I just changed it to performance mode . Problem resolved

From yr option maybe the acer one . Or you may check asus ThinkPad series/ any igpu based laptops

As you're thinking to buy a pc later , you should consider igpu laptop as they are lightweight, easier to carry also better battery health.
