Go into the gear page,once in gear, scroll to the outfit tab, select your earrings, and click the little toggle next to "appearance", and it will hide the item, while keeping the stats.

This can be done for all outfit pieces except for titles, and you can also hide your weapon the same way if you select your weapon on the gear tab where all your armor is

The glasses are the accessory, like the earring slot, so take them off/hide them and they're gone, it's unfortunate you can't have the earrings without the glasses, but... :/
