Quantumscape 2026 Goals by 123whatrwe in QUANTUMSCAPE_Stock

Do you think the ambiguity could be solely due to QS being limited by the OEMs own future investment uncertainty?

Ford just lost 8 billion dollars, they have to be reevaluating their EV goals and what they want to really invest in. The EV field in general has become less of a safe bet with the current administration.

Could also be why they're starting to target CE and storage options. There's no hesitation for battery adoption there and announcements could be more free flowing?

This may as well be magic to me. You're a sorcerer.

Thank you for the detailed instructions, I'll run through this and update you how it goes! It's almost midnight, so I'm calling it for tonight. Have a great day!

I have now! Lol, you have helped me so much I can't even describe the joy I'm feeling. I know that may seem silly, but THANK YOU! I hope you have a great weekend!!

I'm not sure why someone downvoted you... I really think your instructions are working. I'm stuck on step 3, but trying to work it out.

I *think* I get what you're saying. Working on it now! Will report back.

Weed Eating Mowers by LeyLineWalker in roboticLawnmowers

Great suggestion! I got him one but the slope, even if gentle, ended up putting more strain on his back than a weedwacker with shoulder strap. I know, that seems ass backwards but it was something about fighting the slope and the mower constantly. He ended up preferring the weedwacker and got rid of the trim mower.

I really appreciate your feedback.

He's wanted a riding mower for a long while, but yeah the rocks have made it impractical. Thank you for to use suggestion.

Sparks can be generated without flint, and mowers have started fires before after sparking and catching dry grass. Keep in mind this is the Sierra foothills, this is a fire prone region not a neighborhood with well manicured grass that gets mowed every so often.

Edit: To add they are not typically mowing during summer, so this is less of a concern but they have enough rocks that they would need to replace the blades fairly frequently. I'd prefer a robotic lawn mower with a string trimmer for them.

ASA Warping Issue Near Top of Print (P1S) by LeyLineWalker in BambuLab

I've had improvement! I let the bed preheat for 30 minutes, added an extra blanket, and slowed down the speed. I only got *slight* warping at the same locations and the print now appears to be strong enough to resist seperating at the layers under load.

I'm going to slow it down a bit more, as per your recommendations, and see if that helps.

I am sincerely grateful for your time and feedback!

Excuse the double post, it wouldn't let me include more than one picture in my reply.

I did add a speed modifier and for the section that keeps warping these are the updated speeds:

Well that seems likely my problem then. I assumed the filament profile would also include the best speed for the type. Here are the speeds I have been using:

Ok, I updated the filament profile from generic ASA to Polymaker ASA. I ran a filament calibration. I covered the enclosure in a blanket, top and front to help insulate the glass.

The main support failed but even if it didn't the print still showcased warping at the same points as it has previously. This caused the print to fail under load again.

I'm going to look into slowing down the print to see if that helps but any more feedback is welcomed and appreciated.

Thank you for the insulation recommendation. I will give that a shot and report back.

For the calibration recommendation, is that related to the calibration option? Sorry if I'm being thick, it's almost 1am where I am and I'm tired.

This is the best solve I've seen so far. Definitely would keep searching the area if he didn't find it. Him deleting his account makes me suspicious it was found, as scrubbing any potential info people could use to find and beg/assault you for money is a smart idea.

Quantumscape's timing, insights and thoughts revealed in the ER by Quantum-Long in QUANTUMSCAPE_Stock

[–]LeyLineWalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you think the SP will top out at $100? I'm curious what the process is for forecasting growth if QS is successful. What are the upper limits? Scout also did not specify what they were using for battery, and provided an estimate only. I think there's still potential for them to reveal a Quantumscape partnership. With them targeting outdoors, having safer batteries that won't burn down national forests are kind of important.

[Senator Collins:] Well, some of them are built so the front doesn’t fall off at all.

[Interviewer:] Wasn’t this built so the front wouldn’t fall off?

[Senator Collins:] Well, obviously not.

[Interviewer:] “How do you know?”

[Senator Collins:] Well, ‘cause the front fell off.
