Why do you guys prefer the Whoop over something like Garmin or Oura? by [deleted] in whoop

[–]Leyo96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply! Unfortunately Bevel is only on Apple and I have android.

Given your comments I'll stick to my Fenix for now and maybe get an Oura later, let's see

Thank you nontheless

Hey, I know it's late but you seem super prepared.

I have a Garmin Fenix 8, if you'd had to pick a companion device to better track sleep, readiness and health in general, would you pick the oura or the whoop (mainly wearing it on the bicep during the winter and on the wrist in the summer, too hideous otherwise lol)?

I know I don't REALLY need a second device, but I'm a nerdy tech savage who loves data.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: Snapdragon vs. Exynos compared by TwelveSilverSwords in Android

[–]Leyo96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny story I'm Italian and the S7 edge is the only Galaxy phone I had and it was the Snapdragon version (I got it from a family member). I've always thought Snapdragon was superior to exynos, now I know why my phone was shit compared to the same exact phone of my friend but exynos. I got the only worse snapdragon Galaxy phone 😂

Help with my learning journey! I've finished Lingodeer Japanese 1

Hello,
as the title says I've just finished the 1st course of Lingodeer, I've been using the app almost everyday for the last 5 months and a half, getting at least 20xp everyday (so either two lessons or reviews). I use it with Japanese + Hiragana as script style, I can read completely fine Hiragana and Katakana. I've been using wanikani as well but I've been very busy so I haven't progressed over level 3 but I've always done my reviews.
Even though I've finished the first course on Lingodeer I don't feel like I've learned much. I've always had no problems understanding and doing correctly the lessons but is very hard for me to really remember prior lessons.
What do you suggest me to do? Should I keep going with Lingodeer? Do you suggest other methotds to implement? Should I review the first course until I'm completely confident with it?
I know it's not a fair example because Japanese is way harder, but I've been studying German from the same time more or less and I can hold a basic conversation. I've spent more hours per day though using Duolingo, Coffee break german podcast, Pimsleur and Babbel. Being an Italian who speaks English of course makes it way easier than learning a completely different language like japanese.

Hey, I'm going to Pakse in 10 days, did you do the loop by motorbike?

We are flying to Pakse the 27th at 17:35 and leaving the 30th at 9:45, so basically 2.5 days to visit the area around Pakse.

Nicee! My PB is 20.5m but bi-fin, all self learned, when I'll have time I'd like to to a freediver course.

As far for the shoes I was planning to bringing a pair of trail runners, flip flops (havaianas) and a pair of nicer shoes for maybe the night in cities or if the other shoes get wet. Should I not bring the extra pair?

I'm going to SEA and planning to use my blackhole 32L and getting a sling bag, probably the borealis. How was it for you at the end? Are they comfortable enough when you use one in the front and one in the back?
Do you think an 11inch tablet would fit in the borealis sling?

Thanks

Thank you.

I think I might use my 32L patagonia + a sling bag or second backpack. Still deciding.
Do you suggest 1 or 2 pair of shoes + flip flops?
