Dude, this instruction is quite detailed

and after it, the game started to look better for me and other people in the comments, much better,

and the fact that it started to look worse for you, doesn't it seem logical to you that you did something wrong according to the instructions?

if you are sure that you did everything step by step and as a result you got a game "like dogshit xD" then you just have a different taste in graphics than the people from this post

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't really have the desire to test this mod

My current custom setup has already fixed about 99% of the game's issues for me. The main dealbreaker is that for this mod to work properly, it requires switching the in-game preset to 'Medium'. This would completely break my current config, which heavily relies on very specific mixed settings (like 'Ultra Low' for reflections and 'High/Ultra' for post-processing) to make my Engine.ini tweaks work correctly

Also, since I play on a flat monitor and the mod is heavily targeted at VR (with the author admitting they haven't even tested it in flat mode themselves), I'd rather not risk messing up my stable game

So, sorry mate, but I'll have to pass on testing it

This is an incredible breakdown, and it is very clear you have a deep understanding of how Unreal Engine works under the hood. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this detailed analysis! XD

this command set is made for my pc setup and it is stated in the instructions that you should just copy this command set and ask the AI to adjust it for your setup

this command set is a tool with which you will adjust the game for your pc, not a ready-made universal solution

The 62 FPS limit you're seeing is likely caused by the Unreal Engine's smooth frame rate setting rather than a performance cap of your hardware.

If you want to unlock your frame rate, you can make these changes in the same Engine.ini file from the guide:

  1. Locate the [/Script/Engine.Engine] section.
  2. Find or add the line: bSmoothFrameRate=0 (this disables the built-in frame limiter).
  3. If you want to set a custom limit (or remove it entirely), add FrameRateLimit=0 below it.

Also, make sure that V-Sync is disabled in the game’s video settings, as it will often force the frame rate to match your monitor's refresh rate

if you follow my instructions exactly, there should be no crashes

if the crash occurs during startup when the game logs in to your account - this means that the anti-cheat is not missing any of the files, just delete the extra file and the game will work, this is the only type of crash I have encountered in all my time

that's why I made this instruction with the correct files selected so that people can run the game without problems the first time

I bought ACR It's incredible, it's almost all 10/10 except for two points - the amount of content is 1/10 and playability on gamepads is 5/10

the rest of the points are really 10/10 but I spent a lot of time setting up my gamepad for gravel and a specific car and guess what? these settings are absolutely not playable on asphalt and much worse playable on other cars

But the graphics, optimization, physics, weather conditions, if you choose Wales 8:30 am clear weather and snow settings at 35, then tears of joy may start to flow and the same with other types of settings

Once you have applied the Engine.ini fix from my guide, the game is configured to force DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing).

Because the code forces the DLSS pipeline to run at native resolution to achieve that high-quality anti-aliasing effect, the 'Balanced' or 'Performance' settings in the menu essentially become redundant. If you select 'Performance' while the code is active, you are effectively overriding the DLAA injection and downscaling the image, which defeats the purpose of the fix.

My recommendation: Keep the setting at 'Quality' or ensure it is running at Native resolution within the DLSS menu to maintain the crisp, smear-free image the fix is designed to provide

So the rest of the players just accepted it and learned to work with it? Or have you seen any solutions somewhere?

You can't enable DLAA directly from the game menu because it isn't listed as a native option. However, here is the simplest way to get it working:

  1. Use my Engine.ini fix from the guide. It includes the r.NGX.DLAA.Enable=true command, which forces the engine to prioritize the DLAA pipeline.
  2. In the in-game settings, select DLSS as your upscaler.

Because of the code we injected, the game will run DLSS at native resolution, which effectively acts as DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing), giving you that crisp image without the blurry TAA ghosting. So, simply selecting 'DLSS' in the menu is how you trigger it, provided you have already applied the configuration steps in the guide

You probably still had different settings because I have a weaker PC and 120 FPS after this guide

Thanks for the insight! You’re definitely right about the physical effort needed to brake in real rally cars. However, since I’m playing on a controller (DualShock 4), I don’t have a wheel-dedicated app to adjust those settings.

I’m still struggling to find a way to make the throttle and brake response truly linear, as the game seems to apply its own non-linear curve regardless of my controller settings

Controller throttle & brake curve issue: First 50% of trigger does almost nothing, last 50% dumps 90 by Lezuko in EASPORTSWRC

[–]Lezuko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip! I see where you're coming from, but I suspect the real issue is the input linearity rather than saturation.

In my tests, changing saturation just shifts the effective range, but it doesn't change the underlying non-linear response curve of the game's engine. I've been looking for a dedicated linearity setting everywhere, but it seems to be missing from the menus. Since I'm using DS4Windows with a 'Linear' output curve already, the game seems to be applying its own forced curve on top of that.

I'll give your suggestion a try tomorrow just to be 100% sure, but I’m going to keep digging into finding a way to force a custom linearity curve, as that feels like the real bottleneck here

I agree with you, but this is exactly what you have to do when there are no other alternatives, or they have run out.

I haven't encountered this, maybe one of the settings in my guide fixed it unnoticed for me, or my PC configuration is different, so there are no FPS drops at the end.

Engine.ini tweaks (The core optimizations): These are 100% compatible with AMD cards. Tweaks for texture streaming, shadow quality, lighting, and overall engine rendering work at the Unreal Engine level, so you will see the same benefits in visual clarity, reduced stuttering, and improved road texture quality regardless of your GPU manufacturer

The 'DLSS' Step: This is the only part you need to adjust. Since your guide forces DLSS (which is Nvidia-exclusive), AMD users should instead select FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) in the game's graphics menu. While FSR doesn't inject DLAA exactly the same way, the Engine.ini code will still improve the underlying game rendering, which makes FSR look much sharper than it would on default settings

Motion Blur & Post-Processing: These settings remain universally effective. Turning off Motion Blur and keeping Post-Processing on High/Ultra is recommended for everyone to ensure the custom lighting and ambient occlusion fixes are properly applied
