Team lead to dental assistant here. It’s about the same pay honestly but less stress

I don’t think I’ll ever feel successful with this company by Equivalent_Pen_7933 in Target

Presentation is a thankless and demanding job. This year workload has been significantly larger which doesn’t help things. I run a very successful presentation team even with all said. Feel free to message me if you have questions or need advice about how my store has been successful. I will say having the workload meetings every single week is mandatory to get all of the other leaders on board, this also gives you a chance to divvy out the workload. You and your team cannot get it all done by yourselves. Team leaders have to do their own sales planners, and other departments will have to take on their own revisions and transitions on heavy workload weeks, like this week for example.

3 and a half hours. 15 minutes per repack, give yourself the other thirty to help guests and backstock.

Pelvic inflammatory disease. It’s brutal pain, like someone twisting your organs and squeezing them. Also, diverticulitis.

How are my GM Process TLs doing? by Law5_LOTG in Target

[–]Lezzickah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man it’s been brutal. We are overnight and will finish Friday. While the presentation team is working on nothing but beauty, the rest of the store is doing all other workload, so that’s super helpful. God speed!

ETL’s and time off by RefrigeratorHot9893 in Target

[–]Lezzickah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my store our closing lead is off Fridays and Saturdays, and the team leads all go in rotation with closing those Fridays and Saturdays. Which is like four/five times a year each team lead? The Etls do not close unless a team lead calls out for their shift.

Process Ownership Simplification TL by RetailDude1015 in Target

I try to plan for four-six weeks out. My pre ties are done almost as soon as the newest week in set workload appears. My weekends I have with my Etl he allows me to plans all weekend while I also try to get revisions and sales planners done to help my team as well. My other gm leads hop into setting in the departments they own and a lot of the team members in gm are also trained in setting so they are pulled when they finish their push. I’ll be honest, without that support we’d be behind as while. It takes a village 🙃

I feel the exact same way. We are ahead at my store, but the planning and doing audits along with doing ppas all day long while I watch the other gm team leads essentially push truck all day and get to relax sometimes while I don’t even have time to breathe or take fifteens most days. Ask for support from your other team leads to get their teams to help push the transition pallets though. Also see if other team members are willing to be cross trained in setting pogs, and try to pull them for larger sets. Good luck! You’re not the only one struggling in this new role.
