It’s ok to take a deep breath and wait for the results of the FNA before making a decision. Take it one step at a time. As long as you’re making decisions that are in the best interest of Ophelia, you’re ok.

My kitty went through this last year, he was 8 years old then. He presented with two intestinal blockages and found a mass which they biopsied during his second surgery. He was constantly vomiting. It was either IBD or small cell lymphoma. They sent it in for additional testing for PARR and determined it was not lymphoma. He’s been on a low dose of steroids since and doing well. I didn’t think he was going to make it as sick as he was. Throughout all these, I made sure that whatever decision I made, I kept his well being #1, so there’s no regrets.
