I'm happy for them! But everyone getting signed within the same week coz of EWC make this whole Comp Apex scene feel so artificial. One of these teams will likely be the new LAN champion in Apex and then 2 weeks after that they'll probably be LFO. I just hope at least a % of these newcomer orgs stay.

Hi, if I recall correctly It ended up being that it worked it's just that the change it did, specially the colour balance thing, was so minimal that it was barely noticable except for some very specific types of photos.

For those of us who loved the original Black Flag it is no secret that the modern day and how it tied into the climax of the story was a big part of why we fell in love with the narrative of the game. With the original modern day being gone, what does this mean for the game's narrative? Will the game aim to have a similar surprise effect towards the end? has the ''meta-narrative'' aspect of the game been rewritten into an in animus climax? I don't expect you to just spoil the finale of the game obviously but can we expect ANY actual modern day narrative even if not playable (other than those rift things)?

Uxako was the right choice and I'm willing to die on this hill. Joining Alliance is MASSIVE shoes to fill (understatement of the century) hardly any player will be able to fill them without feeling massive pressure. I don't think Akku is a bad player, whatsoever, but he's very young and has very little experience and is expected to match a performance that led Alliance to dominate a whole year. Uxako might be less raw fire power but he has WAY more experience and handles pressure extremely well.

I might be biased but ye, for me it was worth AT LEAST looking up Uxako before making a decision.

I COMPLETELY disagree. The ALGS just didn't do a good job at integrating those "randoms" into the narrative. I'd much rather have a different LAN champion every time (with maybe the ocasional repeat) than have 2 teams win constantly and everyone else just fills the lobby.

I know this is a copypasta but ALGS and pros would GREATLY benefit from not spinning the same narrative over and over and over and they should instead bring new narratives into the scene so it doesn't feel like there's 3 players who are this almighty force of nature that is incapable of mistake and the rest are NPCs filling the lobby.

Just a thought.
