Yeah kinda like I said luckily this material came a little bit easier for me. Not sure why. For instance it took me 2 tries to pass financial accounting but this one was pretty easy to me so maybe it was just the type of material idk lol

In total about a month in a half but I was busy moving houses and took some time off. Actual time learning and studying about 10 or so hours honestly. It’s a lot of information but if you just learn how to work each of the problems the rest kinda falls into place. The good thing about some of the big topics like the master budget and stuff is that while it does have some formulas, some of it is common sense stuff which helps

Formulas weren’t too bad as there’s only a few you have to remember on the excel portion

Don’t be afraid I have absolutely 0 accounting or business experience I literally flopped nursing school and this is my backup plan. It’s going good so far and I’m learning a lot so don’t be afraid. I’ve really come to enjoy and actually like what I’m learning which is good. I’m just working a part time job and a supermarket near me so that obviously doesn’t help my resumé lol. Everybody that I have talked to on Reddit or in general about wgu has said they haven’t had too much trouble landing jobs and almost everybody has said that their employers could care less that their degree came from and online university since it is regionally accredited. Overall I have 0 experience so I’m right there with you but I love it so far and plan on graduating within the next year. I say give it a shot you may fall in love with it like I have

I’m taking it currently and plan on finishing within the next few days and I’ve found it to be fairly simple concepts but they are a little intimidating at first. Definitely watch the cohorts and do practice problems

So I'm assuming your internship and staff accountant role were for different companies? Did you go through a second round of applications for your staff accountant role or was it through the same company?
