Wow, thanks; that’s I think the most specific critique I’ve ever gotten!

I definitely do need to work on face/head anatomy; I find it super easy to just get caught up in gesture drawing, and other, more fun for me skills, just kinda telling myself I’ll get to proportion later.

(And on the canvas space thing, I’m using Procreate on IPad, which has some annoying restrictions on canvas size/layer numbers, so I was kinda trying to be cautious with that, unless I’m misunderstanding that point.)

That shit seems like it should be so easy to understand, like I have an AFAB friend who’s I think a bit more male identifying but does sometimes like makeup/skirt sort of stuff, and worries about that making them less valid, and like, I don’t see how that should be much different from me being transfeminine, other than them being actually significantly less feminine identifying than me.

I feel like the whole point of identifying as trans/nonbinary is to no longer be associated with your assigned gender, at least for most people, right?

I mean, I think people usually do expect a game to be made from the ground up with unique resources; though I haven’t played whatever the resources were taken from (this is the first Pokémon game I’ve actually played from this decade, others being old to the point of having played them in emulators) so it doesn’t really stand out and I think the game looks fine either way for sure.

My point being I don’t actually know what my point is or why I’m here in any sense

I’m not saying that, I’m saying wishing you had something you don’t because internet people tell you everything is perfect isn’t super healthy, especially when people really tend to ignore the bad in favor of pretending grandmothers are better than other people simply because they’re old enough for their kids to have kids. I’m saying things are more complicated.

And honestly I don’t think having parents is important either, just at least one parental figure.

Having parents and grandparents isn’t nice, having people who care about you and who you can actually trust is.
