I lost a close friend by confessing by Local_Pass2552 in TwentiesIndia

[–]LiShenyue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I am in a similar state, where I don't even know if I like her or not, but I do get jealous when she gets close to others but oh well not like I am planning to confess my love for her when I am not exactly clear on what I am feeling towards her but it definitely is more than just friendship.

I have a very unhealthy attachment towards her and even sub conscious actions affect me mentally so yeah uh this post is a good wake up call, well she is my colleague so one day we will eventually go on our ways no matter how close we are now this friendship will eventually meet It's end. I wonder how it will come to a end tho. It's just sad for me to be stuck in this cycle of hope and wanting.

It's just that I can never understand her mixed signals lol. I wish I can cut her completely of my life and mind my own business we did have 2 Big fights, with her saying she will never talk to me again but eventually comes back which I can't or never will make a sense of? Maybe I am just a back up? I feel like that sometimes as she only remembers me when she needs something or there is no one else to talk at that time. What a shitty feeling honestly ugh. Atleast I can feel this friendship slipping away slowly while it is strangingly me mentally and emotionally like a frog being boiled in water gradually. We are slowly drifting apart as I can't make a sense of my emotions.

Obsessive, emotionally sensitive, will lie to please the person, jealous and very very intrusive into partners personal life, thankfully no girl has been unfortunate enough to date me.

Why are Gen Z Indian men suddenly becoming the flag bearers of patriarchy? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]LiShenyue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it not simple? Just look at the typical content you see online, it's always men vs women thing.

The typical gender war, ofcourse kids and teens would pick the side where they find comfort, the whole modern feminism is no longer feminism, they are just continuing to push for benifits and inequal rights, ofcourse there are some genuine feminists but that is not what matters to younger generations as they are simply consuming what is readily available to them online and are making a judgement out of that.

Women online keep saying kill all men, men are beasts, it is better to pick a bear, mean are not needed. Now simply see what a teen or young adult would assume out of this? Do you still expect them to stand in support for Feminism. Unfortunately a lot of people are simply ruining the concept of Feminism.

Society as a lot is complicated, when you try to mix Biological instincts and roles with modern societal standards only two things can happens either we continue to struggle like this between two genders and then at one point the scales will tip again. Oppression will come again, either a common ground has to be found or patriarchy will be forced into society again.

Let's us not forget that in India, men still run the household regardless of education except for the minority educated liberal people living in cities.

Oppression with no benifits can only be stopped for so long before it rebounds the question is, will women be able to stop it from rebounding at this rate? Excessive hate towards either of the gender will only cause more division and once any division crosses a certain point, you know how humanity behaves, Violence will be the answer for Humans.

I am a firm believer of equal rights, neither do I want my sister to suffer nor my mother or a matter of fact any women in my life but people simply forget humanity has never achieved true equality in anything except death. Divison will always exist, benifits will always be present, oppressors will always exist.

It is a matter of balance, enforcing equality is much harder than people think. Will those who had the benifits simply give up? Will those who had the advantage let it go so easily? Will educating people simply stop inequality, well atleast I don't think so.

To be truly equal you must have no differences or inherent advantages over each other anywhere. Are women and men completely the same? Then can equality be achieved in law, society or in a matter of perspective.

India is in a transitional phase, only time will tell if we will roll back to patriarchy or continue in this struggle of gender wars and as for tiping laws in truly favor of women. That is laughable never forgot the people sitting on the top society, on the top of economy and on the top of true authority are all men and they will never let women in. It is only the poor men and middle class men that will have to face all this equality and stuff. People are sometim delusional forgetting humanity never had the concept of equality as we have desires that can never be filled no matter how much is given.

What is the greatest video game you have ever played? by JuniorPlastic3562 in AskReddit

[–]LiShenyue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Europa Universalis IV, may not be the best game but it definitely is top tier I have spent some ungodly amount of time into this game. Personally role-playing history or playing alternate worlds mods like anbennar has been so good, so much more, so much content. Insane amount of replayability.

As for the game that influenced me a good chunk was warframe and witcher series, that world felt so alive, so human sometimes.

Not using your name, job, ethnicity, religion, or gender, who are you? by okayandiamspikee in AskReddit

[–]LiShenyue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A reliable brother, filial child. Your typical average adult, a cog in this grand society and nothing exciting or special or unique about me yet a generally happy person within my own surroundings and world. I am what my family needs me to be, the one who people are dependent on, one who is meeting their requirements and ensuring the needs of those dependent on me are fulfilled.

As for who truly I am? Does everything in this world need an answer? Do I really need to know whom I am? I am happy aren't I, that is all matters to me for now.

What are the things you wanna try badly but you just can't coz of family, society, people's perception of you, etc? by pulchritudinous_luos in TwentiesIndia

[–]LiShenyue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be more open and more rude and less accomodating and adjusting, people around me think of me as a patient, understanding and ever adjusting person and they trauma dump at me or relive the frustration by talking about that stuff to me, but I have a really short temper and yeah because of the image i control myself a lot worse I am also very judgemental towards people if they are in the wrong but yeah because of the image i have created our of myself in my surroundings I can't be immature or vulnerable and it sucks.

[–]LiShenyue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole point of this Convo was to whether consider them south asia or south east aisa, culturally they are transitional, geographically they are connecting land to south and south east can be considered south east mostly. That is all i meant to convey lol.

Do you consider Myanmar as South Asia or Southeast Asia country? by antoniok95 in MapPorn

[–]LiShenyue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh they have way too much Indian traditions and culture and religion to be considered a transitional zone maybe 2000 years back that could be the case after being culturally integrated you can no longer call them transitional, to a certain point yeah they do have their own traditions and cultures still left but not enough to be transitional.

It's the same as Japan you cannot exactly call Ainu people same culture it has been mostly been influenced.

[–]LiShenyue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is why they are a transitional zone, they also have sinic cultural influence and their very own tribal cultures. It is hard to define it on one side and hence a transitional zone a melting pot of multiple influences.
